"I'm rapidly losing faith in Eddie Howe"

FFS!

Regarding Eddie Howe:

"he's supposed be a master tactician, he's supposed to be intricate"

:eek:

A quick glance at his record in the PL will tell you he's someone who tried to outscore the opposition whilst allowing chances and goals galore against him.

I think he thinks they've signed a different "Eddie Howe" to the one at Bournemouth.

The gift that keep on giving, I am very much enjoying my first opening of the advent calendar this morning :lol:

Ah it wasn't a criticism I just can't do it 😂
I did bizzarely have a dream last night they drew 1-1 tonight.
I'd bumped into a mag mate and asked him the score, they went ahead just after half time then Norwich got one back 10 mins later, I was gutted they'd got anything but then realised a draw was no use whatsoever. I don't normally ever dream about their results or even football.
Close enough

He's a Wetherspoons version of Keegan.

😁😁

I keep saying this - even to mags - but we are a shambles, 4 seasons in division 3, they should be laughing uncontrollably, non stop?

Yet they continually let us off the hook with some of the most jaw droppingly stupid and embarrassing self inflicted things you've ever seen.

And they continue to try to outdo themselves.

It's absolutely surreal.

It just goes to show how much appearance shapes impression. He is no better than Bruce in my opinion but looks the part in his training kit, looks good in a v -neck and uses current FA buzzwords like playing through the 3rds and using the "press".

ANY team owner with an okay midfield and attack and shit defence thinking "we just need to tighten up at the back, show more discipline and grind out some results until we can strengthen with some key players" and then thinks "the man to do that is Eddie Howe" is a lunatic.

What about the schoolboy neat and trim haircut which is very sensible?

SAFC in 13/14 (P: 14, W:2, D:2, L: 10, GD = -17, Pts 8) - gap to 4th = 5 (WHU)
NUFC in 21/22 (P: 14, W: 0, D: 7, L: 7, GD = -14, Pts 7) - gap to 4th = 6 (could rise)

Just shows what an escape that was:

Run of games after that: L, D, D, W, D, L , W, D, W, W (Derby), L, L , D, L, L, L, L L, D, W (Chelsea), W, W (Man Utd), W, L.

W = 8, D = 6, L = 10

24 more games and we put on 30 points at 1.25 ppg.

Essentially the mags need to mirror that and finish on 36 points.
Ammunition in your banter with mags today.

* No team has been bottom after 14, with a gap of 6 or more and survived. Gap might rise tonight.

* No team has had 7 points, after 14 games, and survived.

* 8 teams in 29 seasons have survived (season. name, points, gap):

94/95 Everton 8 2 * 22 team season
95/96 Coventry 8 3
04/05 B'burn 10 1
11/12 Wigan 9 2
13/14 Us 8 5
14/15 Leicester 10 2
16/17 Swansea 9 3
17/18 Palace 9 3

* To date ours is the best recovery from lowest points and biggest gap.
Ours was ridiculously good considering we were 7 adrift in April with man city, United and Chelsea still to play.

He speaks a lot of sense:

- a month to bring EH in;
- pissing about over DoF;
- no faith in owners to get players in Jan.

I missed that one!

It's like the emperor's new clothes and people (not just the mags) lap it up. In comparison mr buzzword himself, Brendan Rogers, was referred to as "The Fraud" by every Liverpool fan I knew. He had the v-neck, all the words, sensible hair cut, perma tan, white teeth but was elevated courtesy of Suarez.

EH's P/L win ratio is 29.47%!

His pre-mag record was: P56, D:43, L191, F:241, A:330

His video the other week was 'Why Howe is the next Keegan' 🤣
😂😂😂

Just wait til Everton get humped tonight and Benitez is on the brink...they won't know which way to turn.
The idolisation of Eddie Howe is beyond ridiculous. Its Eddie Howe! :lol:

The pressure and expectation on him is just far, far too much and there's just no way he'll be there at the end of the season, particularly if Benitez is sacked.
The dynamic will be a sight to behold if Benitez leaves Everton...total implosion!
