I never back against Sunderland, anything else is fair game imo. I do genuinely think they'll win tonight, although I'm gonna watch and hope for a heavy Norwich win and general scenes of despair.
Ah it wasn't a criticism I just can't do it 😂
I did bizzarely have a dream last night they drew 1-1 tonight.
I'd bumped into a mag mate and asked him the score, they went ahead just after half time then Norwich got one back 10 mins later, I was gutted they'd got anything but then realised a draw was no use whatsoever. I don't normally ever dream about their results or even football.

Just heard one of them say "whu must be ganning fowa fowa two the neet, doesn't matta as the premya leegue will still fuck us owa"

In his top that had Asprilla on the back in case you're looking in you scruffy tramp.
Fucked them owa!!!

No takeover fucked us owa.
Takeover approved ( suspiciously) fucked us owa.

Fuckwits

Agbonlahor tried to make a point but messed up with his numbers. Given the average wage in the Premier League is over £60K a week then you're looking nearer £100k a week for a 'decent' top half team player not £30k-£40k.

I said this the same crap as below a while ago about Lingard as he's coming to the end of his £15m contract (ignoring bonus/sponsorships also). For example, the mags offering the same contract as West Ham won't get him up north. He's already a multi millionaire and will have his mega rich social bubble along with the best in amnemities where he lives. This is ignoring the current position and quality of the team also.

I notice a few ex mag players from the 90's piped up about coming here etc in reply to Agbonlahor but back in the 90's the mags were throwing around silly wages with Shearer on £35k in 1996. No wonder the players came as some will have been on sub £10k contracts and suddenly being hoyed big money. It's all relative as their wages will have possibly doubled or more but certainly gone up a huge percentage and relative to their living style a huge jump in that.

Aye Newcastle has its places of interest but there's not an abudance of them. For a 20 something multi millionaires the places to be to enjoy your wealth is London then Manchester along with the many other non footballing millionaires to mingle with.]

It's amazing how many people think that the nice beaches, walks, few historical places and landmarks will attract already multimillionaire players up here. It's a different lifestyle these people can live compared to the average bloke and there's also a lot more available to rich people than there was in the 90's in London/Manchester etc than Newcastle.

Even offering the extra £10k-£20k a week may not be enough for some players given they've already got millions in the bank. Say West Ham offer Lingard a 3 year contract of £80k a week, it would be £12.5m before tax. Would he even think about coming up north for £100k a week to get £15.6m? It would probably be somewhere around an extra £1.8m after tax. An extra £10k a week would be £900k so why would Lingard or other players move for an small percentage pay rise on top of multi millions?

Another factor is NUFC can only throw so much on wages before it becomes unsustainable or breaks FFP. Come January I think the mags will realise that they're not actually the richest clerb in the world when they get a few cast off mercenaries signing up because NUFC have increased their wage by a huge percentage.

Haway Norwich, get summit outta this game!

Sadly, put them in my accy for a win (3-0....Norwich really are toothless and will revert back to bad). My bookie is a millionaire so am helping him become a billionaire.
