Kubix Festival returns for 2022

Yep the old punk days are gone unfortunately for this festival. In with the new.
No reason why over two days they can't throw a bit on for everyone tbf, it would make more sense to do so as well and is what I expect them to do as that will draw more people and if they want to keep it fairly cheapish and are paying for an extra day on then they will need to draw a big crowd.

It’s finished now. Punk is over. It’s 2000s bands now I’ve heard same as @Grimes

I didn’t mean that. What I meant is I heard that the punk thing at that festival is over. Let’s face it the lads still touring are too long in the tooth and not that popular for the younger crowd now

Oh sorry mate..thought you meant in general..SLF were supposed to be on this year but two of them live in the States and they couldn’t clear Covid protocols..it’s surprising how many of us oldies still turn out to support these bands..good crowd for the Skids the other week and the Subs are sold out on Saturday.

Nah I know they still draw in good crowds.

They'd be pretty dumb to just focus on one crowd when you can can get more customers by having a more diverse line up of genres.

They could put something Like The Coral on and theyd barely draw many more tickets by having them on alone than they would with 10 other 2000s bands.

Throw in some indie, punk, mod, ska/reggae, dance and they'll double the attendance.

No idea. Highly doubt they would focus on one type of music Though. Pretty sure it’ll be just as you say
