I agree, I suspect they will be saying today was a great game and much better than under Bruce.
The fact is they conceded 3 at home and got a point. If Leeds win tomorrow they are 8 adrift. That’s a huge gap, they could be pretty much stranded by the time the transfer window opens

7 adrift with a Leeds win 6 with a draw. Still 2 games to overhaul
 
Say 36 points is needed to stay up, they need 30 points from 26 games.
That’s a canny tall order
It is considering they have Liverpool to play twice, Man City to play twice and Chelsea away, so if we assume they lose those five fixtures (please God) then that leaves them needing 30 points from 21 games which is 1.42 points per game, a tall order for a bottom of the table team.

It’s a huge ask and as we know only too well if you are stuck down there and have a huge gap, it can be a real struggle for players. Heres hoping anyway
