I've not seen it on twitter at all either.

It's like the club dont want to make any effort to make money sometimes.

They didnt even mention u23s at South Shields last week. They even promoted u18s for Thursday night

Under 3k sold. Not surprising based on our recent FA Cup attendances but still depressing nonetheless. I'm old enough to remember when FA Cup games were the most eagerly anticipated games of the season. Season ticket culture killed it off but we seem to have been affected more than any other club in that regard.

Do you reckon these digital tickets are putting people off,can’t understand why they don’t have at least one turnstile for pay at the gate or even paper tickets people could either buy at the ticket office or get sent out to them

Ticket office is open Friday and Saturday so im guessing it will go up loads then. I just think fans arent bothered about it and club havent even promoted it on any social media platforms.

The playing of understrength teams to prioritise the League since the start of the Premier League,which in turn spread to the lower leagues, Man Utd withdrawing to take part in the World Club Championship and an end to replays and unlimited Replays have all played a part in the demise of the FA Cup.

Seems to have hit us more than others though marra. London clubs seem to all more or less sell out FA Cup games, Mags had 52k at their last FA Cup game, Boro usually see a 40-50% drop and most other Football league teams also see a moderate drop on the gate but not to our level. Our average crowd is around 30k, the Mansfield crowd will be about 8k. It's a huge drop and our Cup tickets are always fairly priced although I don't think the club do themselves any favours just opening the East Stand. Completely kills the atmosphere.

In saying all that I'm giving it a swerve on Saturday!
