Shameful behaviour from *some* of our fans today

was that on the right of the ground? There was a blonde lad near me who kept pointing to random Rotherham fans then pointing outside and then doing the slit throat gesture.

Really odd behaviour. Don’t get it at all. There’s a section at Hull to the left of the away fans that just spend all game pointing and gesturing at random away fans, who are usually doing exactly the same from where they are

indeed, however needs to be tracked down, and brought to book, can't have the fans good name being dragged threw the mud, again.

Aye their fans were to our right, that's the corner we were in. That sounds like a perfect description of the way a few fans were going on around me. Wouldn't mind too much but it was literally from kick off, clearly more interested in shouting abuse at random Rotherham fans than the match. The match was bad enough without them arseholes.
 
Seen a load of our fans 20/30 trying to smash through some fencing to get to about 3 Rotherham fans like they were going to kill them.

literally nowt. What’s the point ???? Just look like knob heads. If ya gonna go on like a twat at least follow through with it once you’ve got the chance. It was ridiculous.

Well I’ve seen the odd ad hoc thing by an individual which brought shame on the club in 50 years. But the group behaviour like this is worrying, the club want to get it sorted out before we get an adverse reputation on the one hand but turn off our own fans at the same time. We get 30k+ in this division for a reason...because it’s a genuinely a safe club to follow, a true community club which attracts and retains fans of all ages. All that can soon be undermined
 
The pic of the poor lass is sickening. It wasn’t too long ago that our away support had an element of ‘self-policing’ to it. Very few went on like total twats as there’d always be a wiser head to ‘have a polite word.’

As for the racist chanting, again, deplorable.
However, is it any surprise that a braindead, pissed up fan resorts to this when the prime minister of the f***ing country is comparing Muslim women to letterboxes and referring to black people as piccaninies and having watermelon smiles?

Totally agree mate. When however the bellend is caught, the club need to find out how he got a ticket.

The elephant in the room here is we are all know there is no shortage of SC holders that will pass out numbers purely for point. Perhaps if the club did more to stop this, not only would twats not be able to attend, but it would make it easier for people keen to go to games to get tickets.

Again, I’m not saying all our SC holders are saints - because they aren’t - but from experience the biggest arseholes are the ones that go for a day on the piss after getting a ticket from a mate

What if the person in question is found to be a SC holder, at this stage nothing should be ruled out.
 
Houghton bus had no bother whatsoever. Left at 9, reached our designated pub at just after 11, stayed there till 1.45. Got to the ground for half 2, back on the bus after the game and home by half 7ish. Bit argy bargy with a few Rovrum fans but nowt major.

Shame to see some have spoiled it for the majority of SAFC away fans today like....
 
If you support Sunderland you should act with respect to society and be a lady or gentleman if you do not want to behave I suggest you support the club up the road we have a zero tolerance for this type of behavior at Rotherham or any other away match...

not wanting to defend anyone acting like a dickhead but i doubt those under the stand would have been aware of what was happening. i also thought it was a bit of a shambles, we could hardly hear the pa or the last post and when folk in the stand did click on what was going on it did fall silent. like i said, i'm not defending poor behaviour but i could see how it turned out the way it did. even the rotherham players started applauding after the last post.
