Rightmove Voyeurism

Not sure about this. Feels a bit soulless. The crappy electric fires and surrounds would have to go as well.
I wonder if it has just been painted and furnished for sale. One reason it looks soulless is there are no pictures on the walls, no bookcases stuffed with mismatched books etc, it just seems to be the essential furniture as if nobody really lives there. Except for the strange police box thing on the side of the kitchen.

The kitchen table has loads of junk on it as well.
The whole set up of the kitchen feels wrong.
  One way of getting rid of it I suppose.

Tindale Towers" in Bishop Auckland is complete with its own pool, sports court and penthouse bedroom suite and was recently put on the market for £2,240,000.

Hasn’t it been on the market for five years or more?

I wouldn’t even buy a ticket on the basis I wouldn’t be able to flog it on.

Reminds me of this place

Spent a fortune converting an industrial building into a house that doesn’t really work as a house, bits of it look like an airport lounge, then looking at rightmove sold prices, I think they took it off the market. I’m sure it featured early in this thread, but I can’t find any evidence to say it has ever sold.

This would do for me.

Low Skerningham Lane, Darlington, DL1
Lot of house for 650.

I'm sure there was a lot of hoo-ha about it when it was built. I seem to recall someone saying elements had been designed because the owner had a disabled child or something. That doesn't really explain a lot of it for me.
Why on earth you'd want to build a house like that right there is mind boggling.

Probably in the hope that adjacent land owners would obtain outline planning permission for housing on their industrial land and make a short term profit.
It didn't happen so effectively left high and dry

Round the corner from the tip and Garland's coaches IIRC.
Oh, and over the road from Brewsters and a Premier Inn and a garage that always flooded.

And then the retail park and football club moved there. Everyone want to live in a Multimillion pound house opposite a fun factory!

Scruffiest house I've ever seen on there.
Funny how the scruffs are always cat people.
That place is ringing. They haven't even shut the drawers in one photo and have clearly shoved the cats/dead bodies/bags of rubbish under the quilt.
