Can’t agree with this. Their keeper made a couple of good saves first half and we hit the post in the second.

Just wasn’t our day.
Missed the first 10mins. I didn’t see either keeper make any saves. Poor performance and zero urgency

Some people have negative personalities. They dwell on the obvious negatives (we played crap and deserved to lose) but then need to find more.

So they say things like "We were dominated by Dobson/Bridcutt/Honeyman etc". Often these ex players haven't actually dominated us, often theyre actually quite poor, but because they are an ex player they stand out more because we recognise them.

But to a negative person its another thing to dwell on, to make you feel even more bad about the situation.
It's not a healthy mind set mate, negativity breeds negativity and it spills into other parts of you life.

Sometimes I think its a defence mechanism to avoid getting their hopes up in case they get disappointed.

Other times I think its just a habitual pattern of thinking.

Often I think its people wanting to be "first" so they can say "I told you so".

I disagree we've all but carried him in most games. It's a conundrum, it's not a Leadbitter situation and his legs have gone. He still looks fit but has offered zero threat compared to last year.

Absolute bullshit. Theres a difference between someone getting older and playing with his head and utilising his quality, utilising the pace and overlapping of people around him as we've done this season and someone not being up to it or not contributing.

Too many want Aiden McGeady of 2018/19 and at 35 it's not going to happen. We've varied our play this season and McGeady has played a big part of that, even if he was poor today.
