Aye, ref was poor but we did nowt to deserve a result today. One of those days where things just don't click and everyone seemingly has an off day at the same time.

The lads aren't entitled to steam roller teams mind, they have to earn it and they haven't today.
The concern I had at the start of the season was if such a young and inexperienced squad would be cut out for all the types of games this league would throw at them (shithousing, teams raising their game against us, going behind against the run of play, the ref being turgid etc) as we miss a bit of “character”. We’re going to lose games, we’re going to not turn up now and again but, IMO, it’ll get better as the season goes on and we’ll go up comfortably. Bring in a load of kids and there are risks associated with it but I’m convinced it’ll pay off.

Sadly, there are the usual people clamming to have a pop and spread doom and gloom.

Very poor, but not the reason we lost.

Individually not good enough today. Their 18 had the beating of Cirkin virtually every time. McGeady undoubtedly has more talent than half the division put together, but the effort is incredibly questionable. Leaving the full back short frequently. O’Nien somewhat of a cult hero, yet nowhere near good enough to play in the centre of midfield. We’ve found so much success this season from overlapping down the wind but that only happened on a handful of occasions today. They suckered us in to playing their way, not good enough.

They ran further, faster and harder than any of our lot today.
Subs should of been made earlier.
