I’m progressing mate !! Its not like i just accused him of not giving the money away i was merely raising the point that its interesting that thats the story thats out there !!

If he did give money to Hughie then thats class of Tyson but i think on the back of his performances in the last few year he also needed to give some more of that wild boar meat and a few boxing lessons too !

The rumour I heard was that Mick Hennessy and Peter borrowed money off a third party for the Parker fight (illegally) and couldn’t afford to pay it back either leading to Tyson paying it back and distancing him from them.
Tyson had seen Peter as another father figure and he says the relationship can never happen due to what’s went on but Peter is open to a relationship.

All just that rumours but always three sides to the story side a side b and the truth

That's more or less what I'd heard - Hennessy borrowed money to make the Parker fight, Peter assumed Tyson would pay the debt off for them, Tyson thought they were taking advantage and fucked them off. But it's all speculation I suppose.

Its funny watching Peter talk about Tyson now, gives him absolutely no credit and seems bitter as fuck. Did Tyson fall out with Hughie over it? Hughie talks about him much more positively than his dad.

Mick Hennessy always seemed a decent bloke too, just not very good at promoting fights. Used to like his Channel 5 cards, they weren't amazing but never claimed to be, especially for terrestrial TV.

yeah think Tyson stopped wishing him luck on social media platforms for a while know that sounds petty but when they were close it was probably a kick in the nuts for Hughie probably also hurt his big paydays he could have had off the undercards of Tyson

Looked to me like he offered his hand first then was responding to Wilder shaking his head and brushing him off. I've only seen one angle of it like.

Yeah, would be good to see the full picture on that, but I think the first thing was "do you respect me now". Which isn't the most friendly of olive branches :lol:
