Replies to this are canny. Whinging already.
Staveley and all are probably quickly realising any manager worth his salt wants feck all to do with them
Reason no 1 ..with plenty of points to lose between now and end of Jan...they might go down
Reason no 2..they will be hanging fire as they will be waiting for any more moral issues to surface, thus not wanting to tarnish their reputation

Bruce stays till Jan then Big Sam incoming...🤣🤣🤣

The fact is that if we'd been bought by the KSA this board would be swarming with mags taking the moral high ground and slamming our fans for welcoming them.

We'd be subjected to endless essays about NUFC being "more than a klerb" and we were facilitating the sportswashing of a brutal dictatorship.

No way would they be saying "fair play, you've been bought out by one of the richest countries in the world and all of those accusations haven't been proven so it's all sour grapes from fans of other teams".

If they say they'd be okay with us being bought by them they're liars.

Definitely.

if it was role reversed we’d be the new poster boys for amnesty international and you’d be buzzing that you’ve just become one of the worlds richest clubs.
The reality is that is exactly how it works for football rivals the world over

Sorry if SEB but has anyone seen that article in the chronicle (I know - but it popped up on my Facebook) with John Barnes saying the mags have been made scapegoats over this whole thing and he says:

“I am guided by the Government, [who are] the moral guardians of Britain.

“As long as the moral guardians of this country are saying it’s okay to do business in Saudi Arabia – which we are – we have to be realistic in terms of the way the world works.

“We look for scapegoats, so the scapegoat is Newcastle.”

Guided by the Government 😂😂😂😂😂
Boris Johnson and his cabinet of happy shopper batman villains as the moral guardians of the country? Tell us another Barnesy.

He’s thick as mince tbh

I think you are crediting the modern day manager with morals that most of them probably haven't got mate.
They'll get bigger and better than Rogers, and maybe win a cup or two.
But everything they buy.......I mean "win", will have a f***ing great asterisk next to it, noting" *Won under a murderous regime"

Their "victories" mean fuck all to the real fan.

Surely it would be easy to ditch Bruce and put Jones in as a placeholder?
Maybe they’re so deluded they think they’ll get a bit good publicity by letting the bacon-gobbler have his 1000th game?

More whataboutery. Forget about roles being reversed. Its you who have them. Deflect as much as you want but they are absolutely despicable.

Who do you think they’ll attract? Rogers has done a cracking job with Leicester tbf

Don't know mate. But they don't normally do things by halves this lot.
This is their first big decision and will be a sign of how they mean to go on.
A lot hinges on this first statement, and if they are as ambitious as we are being led to believe, I don't think Rogers would have been big enough. He's fucked them off so they have to go bigger.
Anything less and they will be ridiculed mate.
Looking forward to it.

Jesus H Christ on a rubber crutch. The day I look to this government for moral guidance will be the day I cease breathing. They are one of the most repugnant, corrupt, morally bereft governments this nation has ever had the misfortune ( or stupidity but this is the wrong forum ) to encounter. Is Barnes saying it’s ok for the mags to go along with this because Boris and his marras are cool with it? Really? If the mags are the “Scapegoats” in this then they are the most willing scapegoats in the history of willing scapegoats. Is this twat looking for a managers job? And I’d like him to explain to me his version of how the world works. Is it ”yeah shit things happen but that’s just how it is” Does this mean we can’t say fuck all about it and just blindly go along with it? If this is what he’s saying then he’s as big a f***ing hypocrite as the rest of them.

if the Saudis value honour and face so much - they have made a huge mistake upsetting millions of football supporters - who have a human right of free speech .
how long before a Newcastle game is held up - because opposition fans have thrown plastic bloodied heads and hands onto the pitch - to protest against Saudi beheadings ?
the Great North Run is shown live in over 120 countries - imagine the possibilities to show the world what we think of the Saudis
lots of creative people out there - are going to get very busy .

Interesting comments from Bielsa today:

A long answer from Bielsa on the Newcastle takeover. Says these things have been happening for a while and that there are "rules to prevent negative consequences". "What should be analysed by the media is if the rules preventing negative consequences are being applied."
Well done him 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The shame is it’s taken a manager from overseas to point it out.

Linked with Timo Werner?

Please be true
Think I will just piss myself laughing when they take the knee😂
Surely it would be easy to ditch Bruce and put Jones in as a placeholder?

Imagine the possibility on Sunday?

Bruce still in charge.

The Newcastle team "taking the knee" in solidarity of oppressed people everywhere.

Spurs fans ripping them in the first match since the takeover.

Timo Werner at the match / strongly linked.

I realise the Premier League caught them on the hop by approving it early, but the potential for "own goals" here is enormous.
