Described as “explosive” marra. Or “mind blowing”.And the atmosphere as well !!!!
You’ve got to be willing to accept that any success you have isn’t earned, it’s bought. Same for City. I don’t really see any of their cup wins or league titles as earned. In fact they may as well walk up to the premier league and buy the trophy off them.I consider myself as a run of the mill Newcastle fan. 75% of games home and away since 1972.
I’m glad to see the back of Ashley and Sports Direct at the club. Although financially stable, the life has been sucked out of the club. No fun
Do I agree with what happens in Saudi? Of course not, it’s a despicable regime.
If I see a person with a tea towel on his head v Spurs, I’ll make my views known.
Will the takeover affect my support of the club I love? Will it balls.
Aye, sadly that’ll be the reality.Although it seems that the education is going all in the other direction unfortunately. Apologists and collaborators for a hateful regime.
Running out to that old favourite of Frankie goes to Hollywood song.....Described as “explosive” marra. Or “mind blowing”.
think people need to think before they speak on the telly![]()
I agree to a certain extent, their early successes were tainted in my eyes. Not so much now though. The furore dies down eventually. You’ve got to be willing to accept that any success you have isn’t earned, it’s bought. Same for City. Possibly. It’ll die down in a few weeks.
i wouldn't be so sure. football fans have very long memories.I agree to a certain extent, their early successes were tainted in my eyes. Not so much now though. The furore dies down eventually.
What does it say then we wait with baited breath ?15,000 posts and 750,000 views.
Says a lot.
Even now any success they have is the same. They would never be where they are now if it wasn’t for oil money.I agree to a certain extent, their early successes were tainted in my eyes. Not so much now though. The furore dies down eventually.

I also don't care if you don't believe me, as for calling me brain dead..check out my avatar.
No one is arsed when city win things; it'll be the same for Newcastle if they do. Shrug of the shoulders and move on because the whole world knows they're nothing clubs that have bought their way to the top.I agree to a certain extent, their early successes were tainted in my eyes. Agreed again. But there comes a time when it’s “accepted”.Even now any success they have is the same. They would never be where they are now if it wasn’t for oil money.
Still not found your way onto any SAFC threads yet then? All success is bought these days man. Successful clubs who win big trophies have all bought it. Only real exception was Man Utd with Scholes etc & then you'd have to say Barca. Then the Leicester one off. Chelsea would have won fck all in comparison with Terry, Lampard & then 9 average "honestly got" players & both would have been off without the money spent around them. City only went from Div 3 to title after a couple of questionable owners. Its only now that you're getting Foden through & after crazy money spent on infrastructure. Without money he'd be elsewhere once he was noticed in his teens.
Edit: Just thinking even Barca was bought to an extent. Cluster of home grown geniuses but added Zlatan, Henry, Eto'o etc etc.
Sad but oow it is these days.
But tell Noel Gallagher etc that. They still enjoy it.
Agreed again. But there comes a time when it’s “accepted”.
Nowt we can do as fans, it’s happened. There will be quite a few with strong morals who won’t go again, but for the majority, it will be match day as normal.
If it hadn’t been us, it would have been someone else.
Of course he enjoys it but he’s said he’s not daft enough to know that it’s a shit show and they’ve bought their success. All success is bought these days man.
