I guess you’re all going to stop using facebook because they own a decent chunk of them. Or stop going on Cruise holidays because they own a chunk of Carnival. Or stop watching super hero movies or taking your kids to theme parks because they own a chunk of Disney? No.. didn’t think so 😂
They don't own a 'decent chunk of shares' in Facebook or Disney, but again it's not the same regardless

It works both ways though. Both you and @mag in peace for example espouse values on the politics board (which I agree with) which are diametrically opposed to those of the Saudi regime but you seem more than happy to bin them off or turn a blind eye to welcome your new overlords as soon as a bit of cash is flashed.
Who seems happy? My position on the takeover has not been revealed.

This is the absolute finest whataboutery I've ever seen.
The fans themselves when interviewed talked about how the celebration was about getting our club back. Sam fender on the BBC said it was because Ashley was gone.

You are acting like they were celebrating the Saudi regime - that's not true.
Haha, you're not being serious are you?! So they were getting dressed up in Arabic clothes to and waving the saudi flag because they just wanted shot of Ashley. Youre living in a fantasy world.

They were celebrating because they think you're going to be the next man city, splashing millions on the best players. To deny that is beyond mental.

The political commentator Sam Fender or singer songwriter Sam Fender

Were they all doing that?

f***ing hell do you really believe that absolute drivel?
Would they have been celebrating getting their club back if the new owners were skint?

Would they fuck.

You would have to feel that the Labour party would have certainly put up more of a defence. The Tories recently interviewed themselves about putting wages and business above people. This shouldn't surprise anyone.
I don’t think they got the memo. The deal was completed incredibly quickly.

Yes they would. Do you genuinely believe they wouldn't have been out there celebrating like that if say KLD had taken over? Of course they would.

Yes. I'm a Newcastle fan. I will support the club through thick and thin. I've seen highs (relatively speaking) and lows (again relatively speaking).

I've already stated my views on the owners, I won't keep repeating that it's there for you to read.

I can't turn my back on the club that's a huge part of who I am. It's like Sunderland fans walking away when you got to league one - it doesn't happen because our team is our team.

I can't control what I can't control. If Amnesty international turn up to protest at the spurs game, they have my full backing. I look forward to seeing you there.
If you feel that strongly there's nothing stopping you going to the games and sing the name of Jamal Khashoggi you would have my respect then

I don't buy this either it's been going on for 18 months.

Nothing stopping you supporting the amnesty international protests too if you feel that strongly. I look forward to seeing you there.

Some of your fans sung he shags who he wants about Johnson. Surely we can all agree that every fan bases have some absolute morons.
Yes - and you are the Audi drivers of the football world. Not everyone is a wanker but the density of wankers is orders of magnitude above other clubs. And you are deflecting for them - which I suppose is apt as “your’ teams existence now is purely about deflecting from human rights abuses.

There's loads of pictures and videos of your fans at St. James flying the Saudi flag and dressed in arab fancy dress, I'd say that's celebrating the Saudi regime, wouldn't you?
