It’s not really a fair comment though mate. They campaigned for years to get Ashley out, they resorted to using the way he treated his staff as a lever for this. Yet they welcome this regime. It’s rank hypocrisy.Their main fanzine seem to have taken a very sensible stance in their editorial.

Moral outrage (mock or otherwise) aside the main point is that football fans do not get to choose their owners. Fair comment.
Caulkin. He is an absolutely pathetic sycophantic disgrace to his profession. Charlatan of the highest order. Hope he’s never seen in Sunderland. Typical 92 Durham Mag. Fcuking disgrace. You must be logged on to see media items
Appalling from George Caulkin.
Quite happy that our club won't be the most detested club on the planet actually.just had a read of this thread. the funniest thing about it all is, if they’d came for Sunderland instead, you’d be doing backflips in the bridges
But but the premier league are corruptSo its the UK Government that has forced this through and is meddling with our national game
Fans helped forced this through as Ashley had probably had enoughThey do get to not wilfully and gleefully carry out their sports washing for them though - dancing around with their flag and flooding social media with pro Saudi propaganda.

No Newcastle Saudis and Johnson’s government are corrupt

I think this needs an enquiry not why Saudis pulled out 6 months ago
How many brown envelopes were passed around to get this through
It stinks
The government says it did not get involved in the deal, which has been criticised by human rights activists.
But the Foreign Office is known to have held meetings with the Premier League to discuss it
Wee's that arsehole presenter?
I’m sure the Newcastle LGBT group despise the countries that criminalise anyone’s sexuality and are vociferous in their condemnation at every available opportunity. But selectively it seems. As much as I agree with this, I'd like to point out that the majority of countries that criminalise homosexuality are in a certain continent, so in the interests of consistency, we'll be boycotting any player that chooses to represent those nations?
Although I accept that playing for a country is a world of difference between being a Crown Prince of one!
It's comical because all these outraged folk getting on their moral high horses are hardly patron saints themselves.
Too late for anything now
Definitely, that is the long term plan. The Saudi’s actually wanted to be involved with raising capital for the ESL according to some Financial Times journoAnybody think, if Newcastle are in Premier League next season, they'll join forces with Liverpool/Man Utd and push for European Super League
I bet the f***ing tories have forced the PL's arm on this. All above board. Nothing to see here.
