Not directly related but two sides of the same coin.
They didn’t release any financial statements until 2 or 3 years ago when they had to as they were looking for funding and had to report to Wall Street. The financial statements were an eye opener, I think they’ve made more profit than any other company in history.

So its the UK Government that has forced this through and is meddling with our national game
Politics long since transgressed our national game. How the hell it was Newcastle United that were picked for this venture is remarkable. You would imagine a London team would have been favoured.

Appalling from George Caulkin.
Disappointed with Caulkin. Another from George: 'Whether or not you accept his motivation (Miliband's resignation), it was that which made the ISSUE of Di Canio's alleged political views relevant, heightened by our region's push to eradicate intolerance from society in general and football in particular.'

Oh, you've got a load of money, howay in lads.

absolutely.....if the mags think they are going to Hoover up all the best players they are wrong as the club's you've mentioned will all still be more attractive to most
Yes, but I suppose they will not be looking for the next Jeff Hendricks on a free from Burnley.

The central point is they have just moved light years in terms of ambition.

Outside the Landfill, their celebrations looked like the Taliban if they had neither weapons nor a moral compass.
I know like other Sunderland supporters that the mags don’t have any kind of moral compass and breathtaking hypocrisy is their forte, but I was genuinely shocked to learn their LGBT group aren’t fully against this. Most gay folks I know are intelligent and aware, also quite militant in some respects. I guess even gay mags are still mags.

Their main fanzine seem to have taken a very sensible stance in their editorial.

Moral outrage (mock or otherwise) aside the main point is that football fans do not get to choose their owners. Fair comment.

Not really true. Considering this I'd all about image and sportswashing, if they had protested about beheading the human rights abuse then they would have walked away.
