Don’t be daft man, Di Canio doing a fascist salute is one thing, but we’re talking about a bloke ordering a journalist to be tortured, dismembered and dissolved in acid. No way an owner like that would be accepted in Sunderland. Liverpool fans, for all the shit they get, prevented Thaksin Shinawatra from taking over largely cos of his dreadful human rights record as Thai PM. Don’t judge all football fans by the behaviour of the Mag idiots (who even started laying into Khashoggi’s widow online remember)

Football has shown plenty of times, we take pride in our misery.
Leeds. Us, sheff Utd, sheff weds, WHU etc. All great crowds while still being shit. If anything we probably get a better fan base when we’re shit in L1 compared to watching us get battered off Everton or Swansea etc

You have no idea of what will happen when you get back to Premier League.
It would be a shame if it happens at either club as the support has been / is the only thing that sets us apart from the majority of clubs. Lose that and you really do lose the club.

It’s what it is, I didn’t turn up expecting a class night, but having a bunch of morons getting in the face of students wearing red and white stripy tops (horizontal) made it more than amusing for me.

We are out for our 16th wedding anniversary and love a bit of cheesiness. Had some decent drinks in Hibou Blanc, then flares before a private Karaoke session in Cody’s.

Right now their daftest fans are euphoric and can’t see which way is up. There’s already been a few spats with Man City and Chelsea fans trying to distance themselves.

Over time they’ll realise there’s a blemish that won’t go away but for now they’re being whipped up into a frenzy by the usual suspects.

much bigger than that..they also own newcastle race course and I think they recently bought a shopping precint or somehting?

basically the rueben brothers are very very rich but they always shunned publicity..they feel that this lack ofprofile meant they midssed out on business deals..they are say, 8 times richer than richard branson.but people come to branson with deals cos he is known to be rich..so the ruebens have been trying to grow their profile to show their wealth to gwt their oprofile and thus be offered better business deals in future

niall quinn got given safc shares (he is much poorer than methven)
aabda staeley got give newcastle shares..is she skint too..or is it standard to give people shares in businessesin exchange for running it..

Right. I’ve been on to Mbappe. He asked what the nightlife is like in Newcastle. I told him all about the Bigg Market and the Diamond Strip and he sounded impressed. I also told him that his girlfriend would love shopping in Fenwick’s but she should pack a bigger cozzie for Whitley Bay beach. I reckon that I’ve clinched it 🤞

So you'd see no problem with the fact your fans made a massive issue over Mike Ashley's practices (Far from ideal but legal) and yet when a bunch of murdering dictators are announced as owners, suddenly it's all 'Well what can you do eh'

The hypocrisy is unlike anything i've ever seen in football im afraid.
