In the same country.I thought you couldn’t own two clubs?
Well you could help by stopping the deliberate pointless contrariness.Aye I think to those already invested in Sunderland, it will make them closer to the club
I am already more buzzing for our next game than I ever was. Need to stick together here. FTM.
What about the region though?Thank you all for your time and patience…
Am I happy that the takeover has taken place: No
Am I unhappy that the takeover has taken place: No
Does the takeover make any difference to the geopolitical picture of the world: No
I thought this tbhTo be fair it'll likely push even more young players in the North East to Sunderland, not only do we have the best academy but if they feel like big money signings are going to fuck their future why would they go to the mags.
Ah can shop at Harrods again now yer knaaar
Not to rain on anyone's parade but with 3 owners 2 of which own 20% between them surely this will be expected to provide 20% of any investment and any investment would be limited to what these two smaller companies can afford. No investment firm is going to pump money into a company endlessly unless their business partners keep up their end. However I suppose they could buy them out if their pockets run dry.
We've mainly been worse than them for the last 30 years bar a few years in the 2010s so what's new?A bad day for Sunderland. Basically secured Newcastle United as the top club in the NE for another century.
