Inevitably there will be a trickle down effect for the whole region with such a large investment.
This! Whether it be more away fans coming to watch them and staying over in Sunderland, to players spending money on luxury gear and nights out in the region.

This is tremendous news. Can’t understand why anyone would be bitter about it,

Excellent post. They may ‘win’ or buy trophies, they may not. Hopefully in today’s world where many of the top players genuinely take an interest in human rights, they’ll be seen as a pariah club - how ironic if they become boycoutted by the worlds elite!

It’s incredible that any genuine, educated supporter of any football club would want this for the team or city
Don’t remember you complaining when city got bought out :D

There's your problem. Most of them are thick as mince.

Cannot express in enough words how sickening it is to know that soon, that set of murdering ***** will be welcomed into this country. These fuckers have literally armed terrorists around the world that have resulted in the deaths of many innocent people. Even amongst the anger shown, I don’t think people are still able to comprehend just how utterly appalling this actually is. Newcastle is about to become the safe baron to one of the most evil states in the world.

But in all seriousness a lot of them are just like us. They have no say. I like our owner, he seems sound and sensible. I’d far rather have sustainable, ethical mediocrity than even what Man City have, never mind this. Sport should be just that. Competitive, level playing field to a degree. And that’s before you even start on the ethics.

I'd swipe left on you x
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Brentford model is the way forward for us.

Somebody better tell Joe Biden.

Biden isn't doing that. Trickle down was an idea of Reagan's. Give the rich unfettered ability to get richer, and, the theory went, some of that would be used to enrich the poor. What happened? The rich got richer, and the poor got poorer. Biden is looking to classic Keynesian economics. Tax the rich and increase public spending, particularly on infrastructure, which also created employment. A repeat of FDR's New Deal.

So what was the crack with that NUFC twitter lass who was actually an MBS/Steve Wraithy journalist dox/assaulter as per court documents? Those were only a couple weeks ago weren't they?

Be exciting if Khashoggi-style journalistic surveillance has just hit the NE. If you like that sort of thing.
