Many Saints of Newark.

Threw me a bit. Enjoyed it but not what I was expecting. A 7/10 for now. Will watch again.
I agree. Thought the young versions of the gang were a bit silly at first (impersonating Silvio and Paulie's mannerisms) but warmed to it as the film went on. You'd think they'd do a follow up tho aye?

The Guilty on Netflix

Thought it looked like a canny idea for a movie. But wasn’t great, Gyllenhaals character isn’t very likeable at all.

5.5/10

Knives Out-a rather good murder mystery film with a stellar cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, Daniel Craig, Don Johnson, Chris Evans and Toni Collette......a solid 7.5/10 from Lop xx

No Time to Die - 7/10

Enjoyed it, if not to just switch off for a couple of hours and watch a decent bond film.

Well, apart from the complete weapon in the cinema who confronted me with the words “you’re in our seats mate” ffs, more edge than a kitchen knife. I’ll just check my ticket I said, he shoved his tickets in my face before I could. He was right, they were his seats……..but for the screening 24 hours earlier……worra c*ck. Never even apologised just walked away muttering.

Just the time you need a Bond gadget to do him some damage. :D

Many Saints of Newark

Enjoyed it, but spent must the film working out who every one was and looking for for references to the tv series

7.5/10

No time to die..started well then just seemed to drag abit, not the best bond film but not the worst. Think it was right time for Craig to bow out. The ending was fitting for him

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Marvel tries it's hand at martial arts.

Immature shite for bairns.

7/10

2001 - A Space Odyssey

Visually stunning, especially for its time. Kicks the arse of the likes of Star Wars for the space scenes even though it was a decade before.

In terms of a narrative, well there isn't much of one. It's not exactly an edge of your seat thrill a minute saga. More of an obscure tale that doesn't make a lot of sense with some cutting edge visuals (for the time) and a perfect soundtrack.

You can see where it has heavily influenced so much of the sci-fi that has came since.

It's a hypersonic 3/4 from Mux.
