Saw "Everybody's Talking about Jamie" last night on Amazon Prime. Mrs K wanted to watch it.
It had some catchy tunes in it I'll give it that. Richard E Grant is of course great.
It wouldn't have been something I'd necessarily choose to watch on my own but it was ok. I can see why so many people liked it.

Roger Rabbit more like
Shan

"Mrs K wanted to watch it."

"I wouldn't watch it on my own, honest."

'It's really not my type of thing."

"I don't even like wearing fishnets outside of weekends"

Pathetic!

I've done RAG (raising and giving) in Drag night. In Sheffield ironically!
I broke the wedges I was wearing and summersaulted off the stage.
The things I've done in the name of charity genuinely beggars belief!

Empire magazine wasn't overly impressed.

I would say it's a TV movie. Apparently the stage show is much better.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Dear Evan Hansen film, although it looks like it's taken quite a battering in the press. Again, I'd rather see that on stage too

Aye, thought the trailer looked canny. The wife will still force me to watch it on dodgy stream.

It's something I've been wanting to watch for ages ( along with The Wire as well ) it's just so many episodes to catch up on
That's exactly what I thought. The amount of episodes looked a bit daunting but once I got into it it was so good that it flew over. Same with Breaking Bad.
It'll be interesting to see what Zahler comes out with next. I enjoyed Brawl and Concrete but Bone Tomahawk is his best film to date imo. That bit near the end when they split him in half is absolutely tremendous. I'm sure I've seen those troglodytes hanging about in our town centre.

Pervert Park (2014) award winning movie documentary about a trailer park in the U.S full of sex offenders being integrated back into society. Cant say it's an enjoyable watch but a fascinating situation that could only happen in America. One by one theyre interviewed and tell their story, mostly sad/violent upbringing and ending up as full on sexual deviants. They talk about an App freely available in the US where you type in a ZIP code and it brings up every sexual offender within a certain radius including photo, their crime, and all other personal details so every now and then the locals come calling. Is this the way the UK should go? how the hell do you manage people on the sex offenders list, chemical castration etc?? Anyway a solid 7.5/10

Off to see Jaws at VUE Sheffield tomorrow night, last saw it in the cinema on its release in the mid 70's. Cant wait!

Cherry
Tom Holland in a Russo brothers film

Afghan war vet going through the mill. From being a college drop out to his return and ptsd.

Brilliantly filmed from the Russo brothers showing their class and a breakaway from the marvel bollocks.
Tom Holland developing into sheer class for me like, last 2 or 3 films he's been amazing.
8/10
