Not when Wigan are turning over Accrington 4-1. We need to start doing similar if we're going to be serious contenders for promotion imo. Canny start overall, but this result raises a few red flags imo. Conceding two goals so late on simply isn't acceptable.

He wasn't mate but for me the lad appears to think he's Maldini and his attitude is contagious. We had our foot off the pedal way too long and when the inevitable attacks began we couldn't kick on again.

Happened when Broadhead was in the box 2 minutes prior, and happened again in the last second to Gooch. Never a penalty in a billion years. Their player also pulled wrights shirt first too

Until LJ gains some tactical nous, we're going nowhere. When you have the game sewn up you don't need more defenders and invite pressure. His default position is to defend. He's not brave enough to let the players continue their attacking game and wants to retreat to a "must not lose" mentallity instead of "must win". He's getting away with being a bluffer, for now. No good blaming individual players when the game plan loads up against them. This one was down to LJ and his (again) piss poor subbing.

It was a penalty, Wright pretty much had the shirt off the kids back when he was already goalside of him..Bloke is absolute moron

I personally think its soft as shit. It was pretty much off the ball shoving. He was never getting near that ball regardless. Its stupidity from Wright but I am amazed its given. 90/100 that isn't given. Every single free kick/corner taken ever there's shoving and shirt grabbing. If he'd done the same when the kid had the ball baring down on goal then aye, but not that.

Yes, no need to panic. But no, it wasn't unlucky. Very poor game management. Medium soft penna's at both ends. You could see it coming - the save from Hoffman/clearance from Evans was the writing on the wall.
