Where's the data from? I was gonna do one for a few teams but didn't bother looking for league position historical data. I simply did ours and the Mags using wiki data hoyed into excel to get charts in the spoiler below. Note the 15 year thing for the Mags prior to 1992 which was the reason of doing it to show just how low they were. I also hoyed that data in the link below to get one of those dynamic data graphics. (not so good viewing all this on a phone! :lol:)

It is from wiki also. I forgot you had done this! Pop me a message and I'll email xls over in case you have spotted an error. There can't be many teams that beat us for deviations from long term average.

Ah reet and thanks for offer tho as wiki isn't the greatest as I had to use a few formulas to tidy up the data ;) I also went as far as checking how many teams in top division so it changed the overall position if in 2nd Division but didn't fart about too much to get it precise. There will be somewhere easier to pull the data down such as that Attendance website which does allow for number of teams in league.

I adjusted also for 16/22/20 top division and 22/24 second tier. Needed to use a bit of len, left, right, value etc. but think it's pretty accurate.

Yours is probably more accurate than mine as I didn't too much checking after hacking the data to get numbers in a similar way :lol:

I just hoyed the data in for some teams using that attendance website. You can see out fall from grace in the late 50's! It starts from 1894 as I couldn't be arsed to modify the original for the earlier years 🤪

Nothing will happen tonight. Few excited people on twitter. Most fans don't bother with it. Most don't read the chronicle. The tiwtter echo chamber has got them convinced it's gonna be like it was at old Trafford when fans got on the pitch.
Might be a few chants against Bruce or Ashley.
This protest is gonna be nothing.
Most people just aren't that bothered.

The mags are all talk.

The most that will happen will be a few bedsheet banners, “Ashley out” chants and a small amount of scrunched up bits of paper thrown on the sidelines.

I can see the mags winning which will of course halt any form of protest.
