Seems strange that a team who he is already on loan to let’s him go out on loan. Makes you wonder if he’s that good

Union exercised their option to buy before completing the loan. They either get a nice profit on any option to buy, or a year's development of a player who's probably not ready for the Bundesliga yet.

Didn't he get sent off, or am I imagining that?
Against Bury in the cup after five minutes, iirc. They were bottom of the footballing pyramid and mugged us in the last few minutes - got two iirc.

I thought it was as bad as it gets, I was there. But it was Quinny's last game, Keane came in after that and rest is history. Keano must have thought he was shite.

From BBC Sport.

Sunderland sign striker Leon Dajaku on a season-long loan from German side Union Berlin.

Just logged on and seen this loan signing has completed. Do you have any understanding on how the work permit position will have been satisfied in this situation?

Sounds like another top pedigree player. Managed to play a couple of games for the BM side which won the champions league and the BL title.

I hope these agreed fees aren’t automatically triggered by promotion. Be a bit Alvarezish to find ourselves with players we’ve decided after looking at that we don’t want.
Though I think this regime aren’t as daft as the two previous ones.
