Never heard of him nor seen him play a minute of football, so willing to give him a chance before making any judgement.

I think the recruitment team have earned that given what they've produced so far this window.

Seems he's played 6 games in the Bundesliga including 2 for Bayern Munich. Sure, that doesn't guarantee anything, but being in around that set up for the last few years suggests he has something about him and at worst he will be decent technically. Given how focused the recruitment side are on analytics, this could be a gem. If not, we've lost very little.

I, for one, am delighted we are looking outside the box and trying to do something different than the same old tried, failed recruitment methods that are commonplace in this divison.

FFS lads, we've gone from signing the likes of McFadzean and Scowen in recent seasons to this. That in itself shows the progress we've made.

Let's face it the only type of player with Bundesliga experience that would consider putting pen to paper for an ambitious League 1 club is either old, broken or has something to prove. Hopefully it's the latter.

Eh? He’s had Covid and an appendectomy.

Dunno if you’ve missed the viral pandemic but it’s almost unavoidable if you go to work with other people.

And an appendectomy can’t happen again unless you’re a medical marvel with two of the offending organ
I think there's a few medical marvels on here mate. Some of them would certainly have the world's leading scientists baffled.

Yep, and he's been around class players and coaches in Germany. He'll be hungry to make a success of this loan and show his parent club what he can do - I'm really happy that were in the market for this kind of player.
