That's their constant conundrum.
On the one hand they don't really want to go and would love a mass buoycoott...
....on the other they desperately have to keep the 52 scwreaming jawdees myth going...
(even though that's less impressive now a fair few clerbs like spurs arsenal and West ham all have bigger stadiums now)
 
We were so bad today. 11 strangers on the pitch. An undeserved win would have completely overshadowed such a poor performance. I feel like we could very well be meeting again next season.

I watched the gane along with ours and OK am not a neutral , but I agree it would have been a travesty for saints to get nothing from that.
