Crazy Keith and Burnsie the alien believer still arguing :D Newcastle fans really are special.

Southampton should win easy, as should most teams playing the mags - they haven't changed their tactics once since the FSW escaped and even his were rank.
A somewhat flawed argument sir. if the tactics haven't changed since FSW, which i do not necessarily disagree with, why should most teams beat us easily. They didn't last season and, as you stated, nothing has changed.

2 poor to average teams. Home win.

Got the Saints on my coupon. They'll turn them over tomorrow I reckon. Can't be many occasions recently when we've been at home at the same time as they have mind. Boro also at home and Hartlepool home v Carlisle as well which could be a bit tasty so plenty of football going on in the NE tomorrow.

Would you like Mike Ashley running your club? If not, then why not? If he's so great then why do so many of your supporters seem to love him being at Newcastle? If you want to talk sensibly then I'm all ears. If you just want to be a tit about things then crack on. You'll be calling us poocastle or the scum next man. Juvenile as fuck really, but whatever floats your boat.

Mike Ashley doesn't come across well. But he isn't the monster you make out.

I'd rather have him, than many of the chancers we (and other clubs like us) have had. Ashley provides stable top flight football most of the time. He invests more money in your squad than I will ever have in my life. And ffs.... he bailed you out when the wolves were at the door.

The football might be dross, the signings woeful, but Ashley isn't making those decisions on a daily basis. He isn't the manager and he isn't the scout.

Is he the best owner in the world? No. But bloody hell there are worse. And I hope one day you all get that wakeup call. Of course when that happens your fanbase will just rewrite history and every mag will claim they loved Mike Ashley.

I think the mags will win, and will keep up the average of a point per game until about March when they'll win a few and eventually finish in their usual boring, meaningless style in about 15th.

He's not put anything into the club. The money that "he" is spending isnt his. It's money generated from appearing in the premier league, ticket sales, and profits on player sales. For every Willock.signed there's a Perez sold. For every Almiron bought there's a Sissoko sold. He's not put a penny in and he gets free advertising for his tat shops to boot. Aa for being a regional club... Leicester won the league, later won the FA Cup. It's not impossible, at least have a go ffs or what's the point? Football is meant to be entertaining, something to enjoy. I dont expect to win everything, or even anything, but I do expect us to have a go at it.
Are you a communist? As you seem clueless on company ownership and limited liability. He owns the club, 100%, so what he is spending is his. The club pay zero dividends, so there is no return on his investment. Instead he re-invests it in the club. The club makes a small profit, relative to other clubs and to have a go would require him to take the club further into debt. This PIF deal won't happen but someone will come in, leverage you to high heaven as you seek to return to being the Entertainers, achieve zero and leave you in a financial mess all in the name of "having a go". Follow Priceoffooball on twitter and see the sorry state of affairs these teams having a go are in.

Well and good if you believe football is simply a business. I don't. Nor do I want the Saudis nor any leveraging of the company. I simply want us to spend everything we generate on making NUFC the best we can possibly be. He's not obliged to release accounts so we can't really see where the money is going, but we do know that our debt to Mike Ashley has not reduced. I also think he should pay the market rate for advertising his tat all over the stadium, or sell that space to other advertisers thus generating greater funds for the club. In my view football is fucked, Man City can buy the league every season and it's boring to watch the same few teams winning everything year after year. I don't really understand how the FFP rules are supposed to work, but they don't seem to be doing much good. You're right, we could have a worse owner, but we could also have a better one. Are you suggesting I should just accept things as they are and not hope for better? Where's the enjoyment in that? I want to compete, at least have a go for Christ's sake. Instead we have Steve Bruce with his book of excuses, the useless bastard that he is. Managing expectations... giving in before we even get started in other words.

It is not a belief - it is a fact and Newcastle with their spending in the 90's are complicit in making it so.

Ashley wants to sell and the stakes are too high for him to take a gamble on a Potter or Howe. SB does what he is asked to do and keep them in the division. It will remain thus until he sells and then a whole new adventure begins.

Football is fecked and whilst people were rejoicing the demise of the ESL I was cursing it because if the supposed top 6 buggered off it would return to how it should be with success based on fanbase and tinpot clubs like Brentford and Bournemouth would be back down where they belong.

Do you also believe he should pay all shareholders a reasonable dividend like the majority of other clubs and do you also believe he should be charging the going rate of around 9% interest on the vast sums he’s loaned to the club to keep it’s head above water?

Ashely may have his faults, but he’s probably saved the club well over £100m in interest payments during his time there.

In return for no interest he took the advertising space for free. So no difference really.

Also Ashley is the only shareholder
What’s he said?

Had a go at fans negativity and mass hysteria for being annoyed at getting beat by Brentford reserves and losing to Sheffield United.
When no fans were in the ground he blamed the fans for adding pressure.

This is a bloke who says he doesn't do social media so not sure where got that from. Unless his son is searching for it and letting him know
