I don't think I'm a tactical genius, but it's not absurd to suggest putting players in their best positions might get more out of them.Course I have I'm just like you I'm a tactical genius in my own head

Like I say if you can see that why can't a manager who's worked in football all his life. I mean you wouldn't tell an electrician or gas engineer how best to do somethingI don't think I'm a tactical genius, but it's not absurd to suggest putting players in their best positions might get more out of them.
Which manager signed him?Yes.
He was only about £5m, which although at the time in 1999 wasn't a small fee, it wasn't huge either. I think we had maybe a dozen or more signings for a bigger fee than that at the time. He was a centre half, an area we weren't short in either.
Joelinton was £40m, it was double our previous transfer record. He's absolutely crap, if we were to sell him we would be lucky to get £8m for him. We signed Joselu from Stoke for £5m and I think Joselu is better. It's a terrible signing. He isn't good at anything. Obviously he's a better player than me, but I reckon there's league one or even league two players better than him.
He's been a total disaster. He's not a centre forward but was signed as one, and even as a wide player he's average at best. When he does something not totally shit, it looks like he's having a decent game because of how bad he is.
Not his fault the fee was £40m, but because of the size of the fee vs what we've had from it, I'd say that makes him the worst signing we've ever made.
A recent comparable fee.... Jota to Liverpool for £41m. Obviously there's no chance we could have signed Jota, but there's a certain standard you should expect for £40m. Joelinton isn't even a £10m player
I wouldn't be happy wirh a Saudi takeover and I suspect that would be it for me. It's hard to give up something close to your heart though, and I'm sure that you would feel the same if it happened with Sunderland. As far as the NF goes, you're right. The NF were prevalent at loads of clubs back then. Let's count them. Chelsea, Leeds, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, Rangers to name a few off the top of my head. I stood up to them on more than one occasion and eventually got a clip for it. I can't control Neanderthal thinking. Are you saying Sunderland have never had problems with racist arseholes? I think almost every club has.Sid James Park was a haven outside for the NF back then can’t claim bragging rights on decency ffs ! Would you be happy as a ‘sensible’ supporter being owned by a murderous regime ??
unreal. and they dedicate a twitter account to us. pure, 100% dribblers.Greatest fanbase on the planet? What are these gumballs on?![]()
He's not put anything into the club. The money that "he" is spending isnt his. It's money generated from appearing in the premier league, ticket sales, and profits on player sales. For every Willock.signed there's a Perez sold. For every Almiron bought there's a Sissoko sold. He's not put a penny in and he gets free advertising for his tat shops to boot. Aa for being a regional club... Leicester won the league, later won the FA Cup. It's not impossible, at least have a go ffs or what's the point? Football is meant to be entertaining, something to enjoy. I dont expect to win everything, or even anything, but I do expect us to have a go at it.He's a fantastic owner who saved you from Bankruptcy and spends hundreds of millions on players establishing you in the PL. The delusion & self entitlement of your fan base is astonishing as you're a regional club who haven't won anything for over 70 years. You should be applauding him for having you where you are and sustainable.

Of course it's f***ing his, are you an imbecile? He's not put anything into the club. The money that "he" is spending isnt his. So you want to match Leicester now ? Had the takeover gone ahead I assume it would have been Man City ??He's not put anything into the club. The money that "he" is spending isnt his. So money going into the club doesn't belong to him, yet you want him to put his own money in which I presume using your logic that wouldn't belong to him either. No, but it appears that you are.

Relegated twice under Ashley and the debt has not decreased. That much is FACT. I'm really not concerned that you think we're the most deluded fans in English football, I've heard this for years from Sky pundits. I know what we are, having been a supporter since I can remember and attending games since 1973. We have our share of arseholes and idiots, but I think that's not something unique to us. Take a look at your own fan base for examples. Fuck sake, there's a few of your nuggets just been photographing themselves with a 'No More Refugees' banner outside your ground. Does that mean you're all a bunch of knackers? Of course not.
Dripping fannies in the standsDribblers in the stands but not in attack on the pitch.
