England v India (2nd test) Lords

Watch when things don't go his way he's a cry baby. I remember when he trapped a ball once and claimed a catch. Clearly hit the ground. He whined on like a child. Can you imagine following Captain Root into battle? I can't.
I got ripped by a few for this at lunchtime-ish. After witnessing the England captain in tears after the match....anyone care to comment?

In theory, but we just know that Vince would be out from a loose drive.

so true

He is the most caring selfless captain we’ve ever had

I am at a loss by your comments. Are you Mrs Root?

Fwiw I agree re the declaration I was referring more to their approach yesterday which you criticised which was the foundation that initially saved the game for them and then gave them a chance to win it.
Depends what way you look at it. If we bowled properly at the end they could have been 180-200 all out. If they bat with more purpose, they may have made it to 250 all out. That’s my point - obviously it’s all hypothetical and anything could have happened - could have knocked us off a length and made 350, or could have been bowled out for 100.
