Me neither.
Masters and the PL care about their product and that alone. They don't want a "big 6". They want a "big 8, or 9, or 10 or more".

The more huge clubs in the league, competing to sign the best players from all over the world, the more money they can command in TV deals. There is no logic at all in them "protecting the 6" and no evidence either.

Ask your local mag this, and they have no answer. They just look at you stunned, as if they can't believe you don't accept a completely made up theory they concocted.

Most of them in this takeover are one or two steps above the "flat earthers". If you challenge their views, or provide evidence, they can only respond with "that's what the authorities want you to think".
Exactly, the Premier league would love it if all 20 clubs were mega rich.

I suspect the ASM situation could go one of two ways:

1) He stays at Newcastle only because he is given an improved contract but will the extra dosh given to him come out of your transfer budget reducing that pot?
2) He joins Benitez at Everton.

Edited to hoy in a 3). If ASM goes to Everton, how much of that transfer fee will be given to Bruce as extra transfer funds for incoming players?
1) recently signed a long term deal
2) ASM is not Benitez' kind of player at all
3) fuck all.

Some of the comments,

“That’s me done with football” ffs
I particularly liked this one.

"Don’t think I can be arsed with football now. Not only because of Ashley but the very fact that the league we’re in just might have cost the club and fans the opportunity to get rid of him. What’s even the point of being in this league"

Surely they mean the actual buyers walking away have cost them the chance to be rid of him.

After watching Simon Jordan questioning on talkSPORT Amanda Staveley on if the Saudis were still at the table twice she stuttered on both occasions and eventually said the consortium were all at the table. She didn’t sound confident and it was stated they had withdrawn. At a guess she’s probably fighting to get an approval then go back to them to say there’s a clear path for you to buy the club now. Personally I don’t think it will happen now unless she comes back with other investors.

Absolutely this.

This New York Times journo clicked onto what was happening straightaway, nearly a year ago, while the likes of Caulkin were still pushing Staveley’s tearful nonsense

Some of the hopeless local reporters are starting to catch up now, and the penny might even be dropping for some of the imbecile supporters.

Scraped a draw at Rotherham last night.....after being pulverised for most of the game.

Oh boy....

Fans were chanting "you're just a shit Steve McClaren" at him. Bruce in his post match quotes said "we started slowly and got slower" saying the players are tired because they've been working so hard in pre season.
The man is an arse.

Christ I remember the injuries under Bruce.
Last I read I think I was about 16000 empty seats? I can see myself happily missing games this season like. Apathy well and truly set in.
Shit fans

Just as a matter of interest , I'll rephrase that, just as a matter of sarcasm, how is their transfer business going??
You have to ask St Maximum ! He needs them to show ambition like signing the arsenal lad or he’s off
Must be hard being at the coalllllll face of the deal
Did he convort his faith for nowt and spend too much on tea tools ?!
