~~Tokyo Olympics 2020/21~~

Am I? ... been a massive Tom Dumoulin fan for years and now pleased he has got some of his form and mindset back to win himself a medal at Olympics.
As for the 1st, 2nd and 6th placings for the Jumbo Visma riders, glad because it confirms they are indeed best team on planet Earth at the moment

As for the rest, please do explain... but if its same kind of crap or personal insults that you in particular seemed to 'like' from that Cee Jay on the TdF thread a few weeks ago then it doesn't even matter what you mean or think really... :)
How old are you ?
To be honest seeing your Bradford thread confirms you don't just speak nonsense when it comes to cycling.

Much prefer it when you appear once a year with your chronic love for anything Dutch. Just imagine how giddy you would have been if VDP had won...real shame that

Logon or register to see this image

Both a different level from Team GB
Don’t think the form was ever there this year, slightly disappointed for ganna. Chuffed for rog though after his crash this year and throwing the tour last year on the tt…

Lambeth thread...but then veered off weirdly to include Bradford

India has got only one medal so far - silver. In 2016 they only got 2 medals in total - silver and bronze.

Amazing how such a large country fails to engage in sport (other than cricket).

didn't take long for the Cee Jay and Errant double act to team up

on the subject of weird...
So apart from innuendos and passive aggressive insults at certain users/posters, is there anything else you contribute on the forum apart from info you seem to have obtained from a google type search engines? ;)
Do either of you have actual opinions? Can you even hold a conversation without insults?... or is it just copying other peoples views which you then claim as your own?

Your Dutch fanboi act bores me and I don't think it's worth trying to debate you.

Like I said earlier at least when you appear around the TDF you normally buggered off for the following 11 months.

Any case let the thread return to Olympic chat

Lack of sporting infrastructure, outside of cricket, doesn't help. They used to dominate hockey but are also rans there now. Get the odd medal, as you say, in shooting, wrestling, boxing etc.

I have the bbc and all the Eurosport channels - is it worth activating Discovery plus free for 12 months, any other decent content beyond the olympics?
I activated the free 12 months a couple of days ago via Sky. Just had a quick look and there seem to be 26 feeds at the moment which is a lot more than the extra Eurosport channels on Sky. At present there are 6 different tennis matches on, a few football feeds, 2 badminton feeds, dressage, archery, handball. Ended up watching 15 minutes of some archery which wouldn't be shown elsewhere as no Brits involved

The picture quality seems superior as well. As its a streaming service you get the option to watch live or back to the start. The other content seems to be loads of stuff that's already available via Sky, documentaries and the like. I probably won't use it once the Olympics are over but its free and I've set myself a reminder to cancel in 11 months.

Get signed up!!

They used to be really good at hockey. Eight Olympic gold medals of which six came in a row. They still do decent enough but it's really underfunded now by the governing body. Hockey used to be more popular but cricket overtook it in importance in the 80s because of television popularity.
