What do you feed your dog and/or cat?

Eukanuba

He's very healthy, great coat and nice poos.

A mate has a frenchie she feeds owt and her shite are minging and far too often runny. Vile.

The cat gets Royal Canin Persian
Occasionally some dreamies, but will only eat them from her bowl.

For some reason, the last 2 cats we've had wouldn't eat anything but their own food. They won't touch anything else. I was surprised they ate the dreamies, but even then, they won't take them from us.

Mix of wet and dried food for my cats, they seem to prefer Felix, Sheba and Gourmet and shun Royal Canin and Hills. They get the better dried food - Encore or James Wellbeloved. They also get treats such as the freeze dried chicken, chicken breast and I even stick a bit of fish in the microwave, a huge favour as I hate the smell. Got 3 one who is not particularly food oriented and one who is turning into Benny the Ball (chunky) and another slim one who has a huge appetite.

The cats get wet food, usually Felix 7+ and IAMs biscuits.
Monty will eat anything he can if you're not looking. Greedy shithouse.

Bob is also partial to cheese, fab lollies and croissants. Odd beast.

Mina can't really be arsed eating much in this heat. She drinks plenty and seems to be favouring the biscuits so that's ok
The same wet and dry food as above and she gets meat sometimes and tinned tuna in water. The only food she will greed from us is yogurt but never gets much. She’s 9 and in good shape.
Edit: she also likes mice and birds if she can find them. She will eat moths and spiders too

I’ve just watched a documentary - Petfooled.
It gives a take on what we should be feeding them and what most of us actually do.
I’m not passing judgment on any of it and what you choose to feed your pets is your choice, but the documentary is definitely worth a watch just to get another perspective.
For the record I have a 11 year old Siberian Husky and for the last four or five years I’ve been feeding him a raw chicken frame every day. Prior to that it was all sorts of stuff. Either way, for his age he’s not doing too bad.

Feed her this

it gets good reviews

I used to buy the original cuisine one, but as she got older her back legs started giving her jip, so I switched to the fish one with added green lipped muscle. It seems to be working a treat with her legs (could be coincidence) but I have started taking green lipped muscle myself (not in dog food form) just in case. Remembering a vet telling me a while ago when she had suspected arthritis, nothing much natural will work with arthritis but if something is going to work, it is green lipped muscle.

butternut box for the hounds....

split up with the Mrs in January and haven't seen them since mind :(
Another shout for butternut box. Best thing we ever did.
cats get royal canin appetite control. They never leave the garden and I don’t want fat cats.

Raw food for the dog from the place in Hendon. She loves it and never had anything else since she was a puppy. The cat gets dry food then supplements it with him catching mice/rats/pigeons/magpies or anything else he can play with and kill the twat he is!

Read Dr Ian Billinghursts books on raw feeding & if that don't make you go 100% raw then it can only be due to laziness.
I feed a bone & raw meat diet, including veg pulp, eggs, cold pressed salmon oil,ACV,barf complete supplement.
Raw chicken carcass, thighs, necks, wings etc are great & make the dog work a wee bit for his feed, instead of wolfing a bowl of crap down in seconds. It also acts as a teeth cleaner too.
Just because a dog lives a long age, doesn't mean it is due to the content of its stomach.
Far more benefits from feeding raw, including a far,far healthier dog.
