F1 2021

My fiesta st has a turbo..

Pathetic and reckless from Lewis.. Nowhere near the apex and had room but took max out. Stewards bottled the punishment too. People call Schumacher dirty...

christ your having a laugh arent you ! Pathetic and reckless to put your car alongside n try n get past the car ahead ?

you see max turn in realise Lewis is there, straighten his steering then turn back in like he’a trying to hit the apex n presuming Lewis will have backed out !

no driver in Lewis’ position would have been able to meet the apex while still trying to make the move work as he was squeezed that tight to old pit wall by Max, if Lewis tried to get the apex he would have understeered more and the collision would have much worse !

racing incident and nothing more

Can never understand why some people instantly jump to racist comments, part of me stupidly thought it was just a football problem, or a police problem or a Boris problem, but it's everywhere. This country has a massive problem across all classes and divisions.
I don’t think the vast majority of these racist comments are from this country mind

Yet the swerving by Max both into Village and into Copse, as well as into Village and Stowe in the sprint race, was deemed "fine"

To be fair I never said he did swerve too much but I think he's far too defensive probably right on the line.

If you look at other races and even the opening lap yesterday down the Wellington straight and into Brooklands its always the other driver that has to back out to avoid a crash. He knows all he has to do is carry a little more speed just to stay/get ahead and if they crash they crash and if they don't the other driver gave up and he will be ahead. If you race like that your going to crash. He has a lot more to lose compared to lewis.

Even the first turn he overcooked it and nearly went wide which is why hamilton was all over him.

Holy shit, I hadn't seen that angle - he was actually ahead.
"Everyone knows you don't try to overtake there" makes him look stupid, and like he thinks we are all stupid. He's trying to gaslight the entire F1 world into believing that! Does he even believe that?

It reminds me of Brundle's savage comeback to Horner

"It's a shame you're too old to have driven here"
"Shame you wasn't fast enough to get to Formula One!"

The problem is Horner. He’ll be chirping in his ear for the next 2 weeks to not take shit from Hamilton and to give it back and I honestly think Hungary could end up the same way. Instead of learning from it like Hamilton learned from 2009, I think he’ll get worse tbh

I suppose we’ll see how much Max has actually ‘grown up’ and matured.

Just seen a clip from 2014 vettel overtook alonso on the inside at the same corner. Difference was alonso gave vettel space.

I already gave you one or two in my edited post.

The Channel 4 presenter basically said Lewis is all gentlemanly when he’s winning but what about when he’s losing? For me he doesn’t seem to be the gentleman when he’s not doing well. That’s one.

Also both driver and team seem unwilling to admit F1 would be a better spectacle if we have varying winners instead of a format where one dominant team/driver wins. Ok they are the number one team and deserve to be there. But at the same time after 7 or 8 years of dominance wouldn’t it start to creep in that perhaps it isn’t that great you are winning all the time? Wouldn’t the appeal wear off?

Another issue is the team seem focussed entirely on Lewis. Poor Valtieri.

Relating more to the race I find the Mercedes car just overwhelming fast. Yeah F1 ought to be about the fastest car. Nothing wrong in that. But when you can do what Lewis did, close a gap as big as it was in the astonishingly fast time he did it in, and find a speed and pace even the next best F1 team could ever humanly achieve without spending millions more in engine development, you have to ask questions about them. Ferrari had a similar degree of speed once. I wonder what happened as a result? We need BoP in F1.

Those are my main gripes.
Funny how Bottas didn’t have that speed.

The sore loser point find me a good loser and you’ll find a loser
Lando!!!!
In the right car he’s a champion

So not only do we need a list of corners hamilton can't over take on but we now need speed limits?
He didn’t overtake mate he knocked his wheel off and ran wide over the kerb, a mile wide, leclerc took the proper line.

He’s not good enough to beat verstappen and he knows it.

I think he’s mint. So good to see McLaren overcoming the problems of the past. Hope williams can get there soon.
Aye was talking to mate over the weekend and both said McLaren were out first team in the 80’s and they just went to shit early 2010’s didn’t have the personalities that were likeable but now the cars improves and Lando is a dream for them. Let’s hope he gets the car he deserves

He was alongside into the corner, Max turned into him expecting Lewis to wave him through but got a nasty surprise when Lewis held his line. Max caused the accident.

As for your second statement, that's on a par with SBC for delusion

Funny how he got a penalty for it then. He should have been black flagged.

The fact he got a penalty and such a bad penalty is part of the problem. It was a racing incident on the first lap even the sky pundits were saying it and they use anything they can to put lewis/mercedes down.

I’m involved with FIA stewarding and there was no way that was a racing incident, verstappen had the line, Hamilton had to back off and instead hit his wheel.

If you can’t see that you must have your head quite far up Hamilton’s arse.
