It certainly was - I got e-ticket ticket in South Stand for £12.00 after registering with my Sunderland address.

Also got train for only £18.60 return (departing from Dark Side to York and 21.30 Grand Central direct back to Sunderland - probably have to leave before end of match to ensure I catch it).

Typo - it's 21.23!

They’re still shouting at the gates at Downing Street and crying because the reejurn (Tyneside) will not get investment.

Selected bits of Tyneside I'm sure

Don't think Shields will see much of it, but Emma Lewin-buck and other local MPs supported them despite it being nowt to do with them

I feel following Newcastle's embarrassing defeat against a non-league team five divisions below them, it's important to note the weakened side that played against York today:

NUFC: Langley, Murphy, Fernandez (Dummett 69), Lascelles (Lewis 46), Watts, Ritchie, Hayden, Hendrick (M.Longstaff 60), Fraser (S.Longstaff 60), Joelinton (Gayle 18[Muto 80]), Wilson (Saint-Maximin 46).
Subs n/u: Thompson, Clark.
Weak as piss that lot. They wouldn’t have won if they’d all played at the same time, all 18.
