Seems to be talks breaking down all over. Spurs are onto their 4th or 5th choice now. Think the board there may be the problem. Brave move by the Everton board to appoint Benitez.

Talking guff. He improved them season on season and somehow beat the much stronger Celtic team over a season fair and square.
He would have been a good choice mate. Agree re Gerrard as well. Natural Klopp replacement
Aye, still early days but think he could be a top manager over next decade or so

You’re the one talking guff, Celtic have been poor for the last 2 seasons and rangers only managed 1 trophy in that time. Going from managing a scottish premier team to managing Spurs is a massive leap.

Celtic have not been that poor, at least, not until last season. Gerrard has transformed them since coming in. They won the Scottish league without losing a single match, something Celtic couldn't do, even when Rangers were not in the league.
Oops - just found out Celtic did it in 2016, but you now what I mean
. Also, Rangers set a few defensive records too las season.
