Craft Beer

DEYA pale ale. Where you at @dangermows?
Blues mate.
Top end beer or marketed at people with more money than sense?
No

Plenty on here spend eight quid on a can. You pay for what you get, and often these are coming in at high abv.

Some literally look at how much they can get for as little as possible. It'll be shite by comparison but if that's what you're like, fair enough.
Standard price for a top end beer!
Yup. Five and a half quid on tap here.

£8 on a can, I stand corrected, absolute helmets with more money than sense.
Hope you're taking your time and are marvelling in the state of euphoria it brings with every mouthful.

Haway man £5.50 is not that bad for a pint of draught but £4.95 a can.

Or just spend money on things you enjoy.

I don't have an £8 can. You're only missing out if you like it but doesn't sound like you do.
I've not tried it, it doesn't mean I don't like it.
It's a case of value for money, is having a £4.95 can more value than supping a pint whilst out for £5.50.
How the hell is it £4.95 a can, I stand by my posts.

Because the ingredients cost a fortune and you're buying from places that don't have the economies of scale to buy them in bulk. The margin on the cans is super low.

You can apply this logic to everything. Why go to a top restaurant when you can just go to McDonald's, why have nice clothes when you can just dress in binbags etc.

Bit you're also missing is these micro pubs double up as a shop and sell cans as well so people are not just buying them to take home. They are having them poured into a glass and supping them in the pub in the same way they would a pint on tap.

I'll ask the farm shop to slap some jam on a piece of bread next time I go.

These days if ordering a take away we tend to get it from a restaurant rather than an out and out take away place. Costs more, but tastes better. And we don't get them all the time so when we do, we prefer the better option.

I think some see food and drink as fuel, so find it odd people will soen a lot.

Each to their own.

Random, but if that's what you're into.
