Time, BBC1 tonight (Stephen Graham, Sean Bean)

Not sure if its been mentioned but watched an interview this morning with stephen graham who said the programme was made because of that channel 4 documentary Prison which was based at HMP Durham. If you havent seen that id recommend you watch it as thats brutal reality viewing and you will notice a lot of the parts theyve included directly from that.

Just finished it. Absolutely loved it. Could have been an 2 or maybe even 3 episodes longer for me and still worked.

Stephen Graham can do no wrong for me like. Class in everything he is in.

A few local well knowns in that as well. I'd like to rewatch it.

Watched the first one last night and I can't wait for / or hope to see, Bean go full Ned Stark on that little scouse c*nt!

Enjoyed it. I like Stephen Graham too. Thought Sean Bean was ok in it too, I’m not that fussed on him generally
Agree on Bean,he's did well for what he does so far . Playing a good part
I usually criticise actors who are the same bloke no matter the role (Ray winston, james naisbett) but Graham i'll let off .

Finished it last night, was thoroughly gripped all the way through.

I've never set foot in a prison so have no idea how realistic it was, but it was a fantastic piece of TV.

Sean Bean must still be sick as about how he was killed off so early in Game Thrones , would have made an absolute fortune

I cover all the East of England ones, some are a lot worse than others. The remand prisons seem to be the worst. Cat A seem the most settled even though they have most dangerous punters. Its down to them accepting they are in for the long term whereas remand prisoner's haven't accepted that they should be in prison and so kick off all the time.

Peterborough is a bit strange, woman on one side, men on the other...

I've a friend who is a senior psychologist on your patch then (Bury St Edmunds) and I've heard some eye watering stories, but I'm yet to ever see first hand. Hopefully it stays that way.

Yeah theres some very unhinged people about, I also cover the custody suites, that's a lot more laid back and not fully like its displayed on the television

stuck in the middle, as a screw

some scary birds in that place, proper danger shags

absolutely agree about the remand places too

always say that my spell with some serious criminals was like a cross between the first series of AWP and goodfellas. no kick offs with any of them, but the younger bell ends who thought they had something to prove or just had nothing about them, could have ended up with them being badly hurt

Watched the first two last night and thought it was excellent. Not always a fan of Sean Bean but it was interesting to seen him play a different type of character to usual.

Should be made compulsory viewing for anyone caught drink driving. I know I wouldn't last 5 minutes inside prison.
