You could also try Longhirst, you can choose the Lakes or the Dawson course. Both top quality courses and a great test of golf

Not played Warkworth, but it’s been recommended to me many times even though it’s just a 9 holer

I quite enjoyed Craigielaw when I played it.
Goswick, Dunbar, The Glen & Kilspindie and North Berwick are all superb courses up there
Just as an aside, have you looked at the Champions tour trip ?
Dunbar / Goswick & The Roxburghe for £158 is a cracking deal.

It's canny, you can play it as an 18 with different tees. Some good holes on it. Only played it in winter mind

Played Goswick and Roxburghe last summer. Absolutely loved Roxburghe, long course with huge deep bunkers you can’t see out of and plenty of soft sand in them. Absolutely p*shed down the whole way round but didn’t stop the enjoyment and finishing birdie, birdie certainly helped

Nice to see Beagles son Rhys Thompson shoot 10 under par on the europro tour. He broke the course record after someone else shot 9 under to match the record. Then a couple of hours later a lad shot a 61 for 11 under

If you stay in Alnwick then I’d suggest playing Dunstanburgh as only about 15 minutes away.Think decision is Burgham then night in Alnwick.
Play Alnwick then home.
Probably sacrifices better courses but less chew in morning after
