End of the day, we’re not set up well, our shape is poor, movement has no purpose, no attacking build up or creativity, no urgency, pace or passion. No quality or “world class basics”, no confidence, players need too many touches and not assured in their overall play, too many formation changes in a game, too many player position changes during a game, too much faith in players who are regularly not good enough or consistently making mistakes.

All of the above applies to any of the last 10 or so games.

Thera probably more but I can’t make a case to support Johnson. He’s not getting the basics right, never mind “world class basics”. I’ve no confidence in him building a promotion team in the summer should we still be in L1 next season, never mind in the Championship.

You’re right- on a different day we could have won. I actually find that element is making me more annoyed. If we’d give 100% which is just the minimum requirement from a professional footballer we probably would have won.

I want to see players flogging there arse off if they lose the ball. We had Jones throwing himself to the floor to try win a foul and still being there 30 seconds later whilst they counter attacked. Quality wise there wasn’t a huge gap, attitude wise it was leagues apart. That’s why I think the reaction is quite as bad as it is.
