Boring thread klaxon - What can I do with bread?

Every week I pick up excess food from a supermarket and give it away to charities and people in need on Olio (If you haven't got the app, get it www.olioex.com).
Recently I've been left with loads of bread products and have no use for them. They are always one day after best before dates so are no good for food banks.

This week I had 14 loaves of bread that I couldn't give away, as well as other bread products and ended up throwing them to the birds. Are there any Sunderland charities that could take them? Any animal places that could use them as feed?
I've made enough bread crumbs and croutons to last a year.

Jesus fed the 5000 with two loaves

I made a lush whisky and marmalade bread and butter pudding with some of last weeks. Having dozens of loaves of bread lying around isn't great though.
Not great for a type I diabetic either!
