Private Numberplates

Just fitted a set of 4d plates on the car, they look class. Might get one for the bike if they do small ones.
Make sure that they are fitted well on the front.
There seems to be a lot of cowboy number plate fitters these days.
The amount of "high end" motors and boy racers who have no number plate on the front and just have it lying on their dashboards seem to be increasing ;)

Can’t say they do much for me although Mrs K has one for her car. (She’s a bit of a slapper mind).
Thing is, over here in WA they’re nowt special and fairly affordable. They’re issued by the department of transport.
All you have to do is go on their website and put in the rego you want. As long as it’s not already issued, it’s not offensive and it is within the legal guidelines then you can have it.
Ive seen SAFC, MACKEM, TOON, NUFC, MAN U, plus numerous others on cars. They can be used to promote a business and all sorts of other stuff.

Fines for tinted plates and for them being on the dash are increasing in numbers as well

I don’t understand why people get so annoyed at personal plates. If you want one, fine do it if it makes you happy - if you don’t like them don’t get one but there is no need for hatred based on a Reg number
I think it's a thing that ordinary people don't like to see others being pretentious/show-offs/bigheads.
Some of the knobs who quite openly flout the rules with numbers plates in various guises, not playing by the rules/laws will probably cause such feelings.

John Hall's son had NUFC on his Roller . He used to get fined occasionally and just pay the fines . I think the pelanty then was about £50 .
