I like Scowen but people moan at him because he misplaces simple passes or because he plays hospital passes, got nowt to do with the direction they go in I don't think.

I would say that the reason he misplaces them is because they are forward passes; I'm sure he could do a simple pass backwards and keep the ball but he does to try to go forward.

I don't think his passing is great, his real benefit to the team is energy, work rate, etc. but he is definitely the most positive of our midfielders on the ball.
