Sounds like a scam and the whoppers will all fall for it.
Raise whatever money he gets his % Ashley tells them to fuck off with wanting to invest.
Why would you want whoppers who have been kicking off calling you a fat cockney bastard to own a % and want to be on the board?
Just asking for trouble.. so whatever money raised goes to charities and the owner of that go fund me pockets some money.

They're hoping to raise £3M as that's what they think will buy them a 1% Stake in the club (valeing at £300M) from the NEW owners. I wonder when they will realise Ashley will never sell the Club. They'll do anything they think makes them relevant.

So is he admitting that the 14 years under Ashley have been broadly similar to the other 115 years (success and failure) that they're essentially no different to the "70s and 80s" (more failure than success) or what? If he is, he's shot himself in the foot, if he isn't then he's showing himself up as a self-entitled berk who doesn't understand his own clubs history. Or is it, essentially just an opportunity to try to gain some media attention?

Have they ever been happy with their ownership? I remember a mate of mine's dad paying for a seat in a certain section and then getting moved? Must be mid to late 90's? I know that is too far away for Benji etc. but some of the "proper" mags may remember.

I'm 52. I know a lad who's gone since the early 80s and in the late 80s he only used to go to away games and wore a "Stay Away" tee-shirt with the away fixtures printed on the back. Its been gannin on for as long as I can remember tbh

I think even if they dropped into League 2 they wouldn't raise enough to buy them. Good of them to put subtitles on anarl just in case people don't understand the trying to be posh speaking mag accent.This will end up with the money going to charities so at least something good it going to come out of it
