Seaburn All Weather Shelter

I like that. It keeps the original features of the tram shelter rather than knocking it down and building one of these modern identikit blocks.
I think the fact that they are turning over the asset to a trust who will benefit from income to allow them to do things with is admirable. At least then the community get to have a say and get involved with the trust rather than the council dictating what can and can’t be done.

If they were doing nowt with it he'd slag then off for their inaction. Blokes a weirdo if it's that tory oddball who used to post on here years ago.
Totally misguided and wrong.Read my comment again and stop distorting it.Same old predictabke Tory name calling. No surprise from your names location.
They're not.
Another clue in the name like above ?
By the way the petition count is 1000.+

What a sad person.

Imagine wanting this building to stay practically unused when there's a fantastic opportunity to make use of it as a café, whilst all the original features remain. You and the other sad individuals are acting like they want to pull it down.

There is literally not one down side to the proposals.

What has my name got to do with anything? I'm a bit confused. You have sonething against people from Town End Farm and Red House it seems. Care to explain why?

I dont want it pulled down at all.Stop posting nonsense.I want its character preserving as an all weather Shelter like over 1000 others do.

No, you are acting like the plans are to pull it down, getting all angry when in fact what they are going to be doing is keeping all the original features of the building but making use of it as a cafe.

If they are preserving it's features what difference does it make to you if it's a cafe?

If he's not whinging about wanting a 400ft viewing platform, he's whinging about a historical building being sympathetically restored and put back into use.
Ok.You are obviously the type like the other Labour sheep who like Sunderland being a hollow city. You do realise many outsiders call my hometown/city a shit hole.Iwouldnt go that far but believe it should be a much better place than what it is.It is nowhere near to being the very best version of itself.Your type and a few of the other Labour sheep numpties obviously enjoy second rate, unambitious, unvusionary development, regeneration, etc.Probably have low personal aspirations for yourself and the city you live in unfortunately. The historical building serves a purpose and has done for years. It is already in use.All it needs is a bit of TLC and its historical function maintained.
OP moaning about the council for the sake of it again

Unambitious 😄. And wanting a 400ft viewing platform is ambitious is it? Go and have a whinge with your other nimbys. There's going to be a lot more stuff being built for you to kick off about. You're stuck in the stoneage and don't like change. Pretty sad you don't have progressive asperations.

Daft owld shite 😄
