Craft Beer

Hop Knocker. If you're new to this then you might have to redefine what you think 'reasonable prices' are!

@DoctorMick might be able to sort you out with a selection box from his shop?

Just whatever’s gunna be the best overall value for money really I guess. I’m flexible on price to a degree if I’m getting decent stuff. The selections probably more important tbh.

I’ve only really been buying stuff from the shops like asda and sainsburies etc and looking to test some different bits. Figured my best bets probably online.

Aye, definitely can, we can work to most budgets.
Message @DoctorMick - just filled my fridge with beers from his bottle shop today
And as of the order that came in today the SMB discount code is the most used on our site. 🤣

if you let me know what you’ve enjoyed from supermarkets I can put you a good value mixed selection together if you want.

Wicked mate I will compile a list of the types I’m after and get back to you.

If you PM me your website I’ve got a few friends who love craft beer and prefer buying local if they can so I will forward it on. I’m assuming you can’t share personal businesses on here.

www.bloodygoodbrews.co.uk (discount code is SMB10%). We’re not actually local tho, I’m from Sunderland but live in Telford now.

Which one was it that you lot bang on about? Looper or Dooper? I’ve got a Looper, might drink it tonight.
On tonight’s menu

Vaux - Monk Street Brown 5.3%
Guinness Foreign Extra Stout - 7.5%
Westmalle Trappist Dubbel - 7%
The Kernel - Export Stout - 7.5%
The Kernel - Export Raspberry Stout - 7%
Siren - Cacao & Cheery Twisted Breakfast Stout - 7.4%
Buxton - Storm Shadow Imperial Stout - 8.5%
Arbor Cafe Cream Coffee & Chocolate Stout - 6.9%
Buxton - Costa Rican Extra Porter - 7.4%
Tiny Rebel - Double 99 Chocolate Flake Soft Serve Imperial Stout - 9.9%
New Bristol Brewery - Salted Chocolate Bigger Cinder Toffee Stout - 10%
Wilde Child - Brownie Huntress Export Chocolate Fudge Brownie Stout - 7.4%

Drinking the brown ale now, think I’ll just work upwards through the ABVs. Might not do the Double 99 or Cinder Toffee stouts as I want to actually taste them.

I wouldn’t like to be you in the morning if you get through all of them in one evening!

Still think it's mad that you can get that Westmalle Dubbel in Tesco for 2 quid a bottle. It's fantastic. Must be one of the best value beers you can buy.

Tiny Rebel No Capes is canny. Someone on Untappd compared it to an alcoholic apricot frube and they aren’t far off.

Had the Double 99 last night which was really good and have a few more stout/porters (northern monk chocolate and caramel biscuit, brew dog roaster coaster and London beer factory tiramisu) for after the match

Got suckered into another Blues purchase today. They’ve got that Brew York “John Biscotti, The King of Brew York” in & we’re doing a cookie collaboration with a company who name I’ve forgot. Anyhow, got a Full Circle impy stout & another Banoffee one.

Having an all day sesh tomorrow but will have to stick to the low ABVs as there’s 4 matches to watch.

My stash of impy stouts is looking very good at the minute.
