Tbh, I knew of the KFC development before I knew the housing development. I was actually quite surprised when houses started popping up, as was expecting a mini retail park

KFC have been trying to build round there for years, they wanted to build where the new lidl is but were knocked back.

Where the little industrial estate was just before you would get to sykes pop. Word on the street is the furniture shop is going to be a gym, which will be much needed with McDonald's, KFC , Greggs and the Harvester all within a few hundred yards 🤣

Nah im lost now , so if I’m driving from grangetown to Ryhope , I pass McDonald’s and furniture shop , straight over the toll bar crossings , past the new builds , then is it there ??

Would love a gym nearby. Have to go to Seaham, Grangetown or into Sunderland at present.

Did your solicitor not do a "search" for any such plans?
I would have been fuming if I went through buying a kip there, and then finding out that there were existing plans in place for such businesses right next door!
