This should go down well
Another one on their ever growing hate list
I've always been of the opinion that there are very few genuinely good managers. Most of the rest are just ex-players who, in some cases, have been lucky enough to have it work out once for them, which is enough to keep them on the merry-go-round. Rarely do you see a manager go in and do a really, undeniably good job at 3 clubs. For starters the fact that almost all are ex-players means it's a limited pool. Having played the game will definitely be a slight benefit, but the skill set required to be a good left back, centre back, striker or whatever is totally different from that required to be a manager. It's no surprise that, although loads of players fancy a crack at it, not many are very good. Bruce has been bobbling about being mediocre at best for years and somehow keeps getting jobs. If you were a PL owner and wanted your club to progress, you just wouldn't touch him, you'd be better off taking a punt on someone unheard of tbh
His trawling around the leagues and ultimately failing everywhere has made him a very rich man !! Probably the only industry where constant failure does not limit your potential to earn ££££££££££££

I’ve never gotten over how much Bruce destroyed our squad in 2011. Partly because the potential and momentum was there for all to see but mostly because of how he tried to revise history about his time here.

With that all said I can’t enjoy watching him get the kind of abuse he pretended he got while here from his own people - even though there’s part of me that hopes it means he now sees how wrong he was. The level of stuff getting posted on social media from some is shocking. Hes gone from being a FGB or a cabbage to having people wish him dead or talking about his dead parents etc. He’s a human being at the end of the day.

If he thinks he got a raw deal here with a few choice chants in one home game then he will realise it is more akin to lunch at Buckingham Palace compared to what he will encounter if they let the mags back into the ground.

He will have wear a disguise or hide in a wheely bin to get in and out safely, probably both.

I still remember how we blamed us the fans for his own failings bringing in "expectation levels", "pressure on players playing at the Stadium of Light" and the old favourite "his Geordie Roots".

Aye, it's much better being in league one and winning a few games 🤦‍♀️
Not really my point but if we were in their position as a fan would you rather see lots of wins at the top of the championship or 6 wins a season, mostly 1-0 and mostly away games? Just as a fan knowing that your club is not going to push any higher than they are at and are constantly going to struggle. personally I saw about 90% of our season ticket holders not wanting to watch us against villa when we were 4-0 down at half time not so long ago.

I'd rather win 8-9 games in the premier league every season and stay up than see "lots of wins" at the top of the championship and miss out on promotion. That said, I would rather win the championship than get relegated from the premier league. A win in the premier league is worth at least two in the championship.

Tbh, finishing between 13-17th in the premier league is probably the best we can hope for and would be a massive improvement on our current situation. If in 2 or 3 years time that was where we were I would be ecstatic.

If you want to add backing for Bruce , my answer to why Bruce should stay

"I like a consistent approach and even if we go down he should be giving a chance to rebuild and start a legacy at our club.

Rafa was the start of the project and Bruce is part 2"

That survey was pathetic, do you think the arbitration will be successful? Will the takeover go through? Will PCP own NUFC in the future.

They’re obsessed.

Btw I answered Bruce should stay, NUFC won’t be relegated with him charge but will be if a new manager should come in. It’s all Rafa’s fault and Steven Bruce should replace Bruce.

Fulham and Newcastle aren't very good. That's why they're both in trouble.
Both teams will be targeting certain key games. Hopefully Parker will be trying to learn from their mistakes and get performances out of a squad that at least tries.
Bruce will be relying on luck, will underestimate the opposition and has a lacklustre squad who doesn't try for him. Plus he keeps playing joelinton who is absolutely f***ing shite! 😆😆😆😆😆😆

It will be interesting to see the summary for - "Do you still want an PCP-led, PIF-backed takeover to happen?"

It was 95% before and I reckon, even with the recent developments at the Turkish embassy it will still be that high.

What they squealing about anyway ?
If they get relegated, they will sell a couple of players for big money, let the dead wood go, reorganise the squad for nil net spend, blast their way to promotion and Ashley's quids in again esp as the daft twats will still turn up despite the "I'm not gannin back til til the FCB's gone" bollocks. They can talk the talk but not....
Absolute bunch of drama queens.

No gaurentee they'd bounce straight back. Also how many of he team would they get decent money for to offset the huge drop In income at a very challenging time for all clubs

Ashley has been lucky both times on relegation , first time had a team that should never have gone down and was far to good for the championship, second time he had a top class manager that should have been nowhere near a championship club in a million years and was always going to get promoted , he has neither this time when relegation happens.

If they could convert their chances they would be top half.
It has been made out that it’s a shocking result but it’s not really. Brighton are decent enough. Bruce will be earmarking other games to pick up points. They won’t go down imho

Youve nailed it here mind.

I don't agree when some say Fulham aren't very good as they aren't class but they give it a go. Their last 4 games were against Spurs, Man City, Liverpool and Leeds and they got 3 points. The Mags had Brighton, WBA, Villa (no Grealish) and Wolves and got 2pts. In the 4 games prior, Fulham got 8 points so 11pts from their last 8 games. The Mags got 3pts beating Southampton, who'd just been spanked 9-0 so just 5pts from last 8?

Are some just focusing on the last 4 results even though they've just had a hard run of 4 fixtures and not looking at the opposition or how the performed? If they'd drawn with Leeds then would people have the same view? One huge difference is Fulham, albeit they fuck up a bit, give it a go and the Leeds keeper didn't help their cause.

I guess the next 2 games will give an even better indication of what's possibly going to happen. Though as we know, owt could still happen as either team could pull off an unexpected win. This is where we know what the Mags can be like, spawning a result yet not really dominating a game.
