Unfortunately for us, fortunately for the mags, this season is a typical one for Bruce. His teams start well (first 10 games for the mags this season 1.4 per game), they then have a really bad run (second 10 games for the mags 0.5 per game), then they stabilise (last 8 games for the mags 1.1 per game), then they flurry a little right at the end. If the Mags follow the Bruce norm throughout his career then they will finish this season on 40 points from here.

Imagine caring or giving it the big un about the papa johns truphy ffs   A competition our kids played in. A competition we have never been low enough to play in. A competition other league 1 clubs don’t even care about. A competition Luton town were too high up to enter ffs and you wonder why you get called sad mackem bastards man.

As I have said before we have played at a higher level than you ever have and you have and are playing at a level we haven’t sank to in over 100 years

Not as hilarious as 3 years in league 1
The sad fact for your lot is that because of our demise, and length of time being in the doldrums, it has made us a very very attractive proposition ! Massive club, with huge fan base , and brilliant facilities available for cherry bobs !
The reason you haven't been bought is because you are floating along in the premiership. And that brings a 350 million pound price tag, of which no one is prepared to pay. You need 300 million more spending on players to be anything like competing.
Our demise will in the long term become our saviour 100%

So what if man city win the quadruple on 85 points?

Are you saying they are a worse side because the domestic league has become more competitive?

No.
Better season overall but they've performed worse in the league. They were 9th in December this season, very poor by their standards.

You mean that competition where 1500 of your fans attended to see your "future" get absolutely smashed, You really are a f***ing clown. We may be in League 1 but our prospects look far far better than yours with Bruce in charge :lol:

Can’t see them sacking him now like..I’ve just looked at their fixtures there..fkn hell they could drop like.

All three have similar fixtures.

I am not too fussed if they stay up.

Don’t fancy playing them next season if we go up.

They usually keep all their good players when they go down.

Oh, it wasn’t the fact we were a disgrace against Wigan, it was because the fans hated him because he was a geordie.
Never forget oshea slipping over for the wigan player to sprint away and score, talk about the wrath. Must have been very incomfortable for bruce as the crowd turned

Just like O'Neil and Poyet, we were sleepwalking towards relegation and if they were not sacked we'd have almost certainly went down.

So you think a side who gain 100 points where all the top sides are knocked out of Europe early.

Would be better than a side who achieved 85 points where 2nd place won champions League. 3rd and 4th contest the Europa League final?

Looks like we were 16th, then fell to 17th after that 2-1 loss at Wolves with the Seb dive and Fletcher scoring on the break from the terrible missed penalty. MON then came in and got us as high as 8th in the back half of the season but we slipped to 13th at the very end after we forgot to score goals following the 3-3 at City. Only took 5 points from the last 8 matches and finished just 2 points off 10th. MON not working out is probably my biggest personal disappointment of our slow 10 year drop to League One. I thought he was an amazing hire.
MO’N was appointed before that Wolves game, he went into the dressing room I believe either before the game or at half time.
