This, sadly they won too many points before Xmas.... despite being shiteSadly, they’ll not go down the streaky gits.

Know what you mean but that would mean i want them to stay up, which means winning games and it cant be done. I want them to crumble and smash their town up whilst sobbing like fuck under relegation. Then hopefully get relegated again to see what it feels like.Personally wouldn't want to play them in the Championship unless there is serious investment in the squad

They had the likes of Wjinaldum, Sissoko and Townsend, who brought in £80-90m alone. They also had a younger squad, and a lot of players who had a good reputation in Europe (Cabella, Thauvin etc.) who they knew they could offload easily for half decent money.
This time around, Saint Maximin would fetch a similar fee, but other than that, I'm not sure. They might get back what they paid for Almiron, and a half decent fee for Wilson, but they wouldn't have the breathing room they had last time. I don't see them walking the league.
Can still get 11/2 for Brighton to go down. Crazy odds IMOBrighton are absolutely fucked imo, their attack is even worse than the Mags somehow.
Sheff Utd will be down by then so suspect it will be a nervous encounter at the hotch potch,Brighton cant put chances away but they create plenty and Sheff Utd are dire , other than that![]()
Think Fulham will stay up and its between Mags and Brighton. I think the Mags have a decent defence and will eek out a few wins to stay up.The next few games will decide it imo.
Just had a look at their last 6 games of the season
Liverpool (H)
Arsenal (A)
Leicester (H)
City (A)
Sheff Utd (H)
Fulham (A)
If they don't win their next 2 against Villa and Brighton they're in serious trouble.
most of their team would get decent moves, hayen, lascelles, even shelvey etc
Probably SEB but searched "contract" and nothing new came up..
In their most recent published accounts, for the financial year ending June 2019, Newcastle had a player wage bill of £96.8 million. Since then they have signed Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser.

Well that's the parachute gone on wages then .
