He is in our bubble and has been since the beginning of the first lockdown. we are okay and vaccinated but he has a while before his....But, its the lads and lasses where we sit at the SoL we will miss.
Just waiting for March 29th so at least I can go and sit in the garden with a cuppa, staying in touch by phone and text is OK, but no substitute for seeing them.Brief time with both sons and grandkids on Christmas day but no general contact since last September. Bugger this thing has been hard, but touch wood unlike a lot of people I have lost no family.

on my own I am afraid (wife away visiting relatives), been threads before and I have not changed my mind. I have had my injection for over three weeks now, but won't risk anybody elses health catching this horrible thing off me.

If you can't see anyone after having the jab in case you still transmit it and the jab doesn't stop the virus from killing you, just lessens the chances then whats the point in getting it in the first place? Serious question and not trying to be a knob about it. Just if you can't have your life back and see people and go on as pre March 2020 normal then whats the point of taking a vaccine?

In terms of watching the match, my dads and a mate are coming over mine so will be having a few beers. Looking forward to it.

Bought my commemorative ticket but I’m at work so won’t get chance to watch it. I’m surprisingly not even that bothered. It’s a nothing cup and without a weekend away in London and the atmosphere of Wembley it will mean very little to me.

Good on you, I think I am well protected and quite fit for an old bloke. As far as I know, i can still catch and transmit it (but very low risk of being really poorly or ending up in hospital), but as the roll out continues, more and more people have a less chance of being ill with it (that will be the effectiveness) and with the effects of the lockdown also we can start to get back to normal (if not entirely) in the next few months.
