Once vaccine supply arrives both first and second dose numbers should go up. They need to if we're to hit the targets.

Not necessarily. There are far more places vaccinating now than there was when the first doses were being given. So long as supplies of vaccine are maintained we should be seeing around a million vaccinations per day made up of first and second doses.

I had assumed end of July for everyone to get their first jabs. Otherwise that would be spectacular.

This is correct. Over 40s should start getting first doses from the 15th of April.

Going to need to up the vaccines given to hit that I reckon. I'm just going off a BBC article from a week or so ago

No I don’t think so, I’m in the 30+ band, by the Omni calculator my first one is due May/June with the follow up August/September.
